I have no idea where ill even start getting ideas. It was hard enough coming up with names for 1 and 2. Now I've used all the boy and girl names I like how do I find so etching for number 3!?
If L had been a girl he would have been Lucie, but my cousin has since used this so it's gone.
Both of mine have family names as middle names and they have 2 middle names each so I think number 3 has to have the same.
Its going to be hard going!

Lavender Rose - are you new or have you had a name change?

We were totally stuck for boys names this time although I think we're sorted now. Girls were easy, well if I'd got my way anyway :-) Mine both have 2 middle names as well, I think this one will end up with 1 middle name the same as J - currently causing arguments tho so I no longer discuss it and once he's born I will just tell H what they are ;-)

No plans, M has agreed though so that was a big step! Ours have 2 middle names also :-)

I think if its a boy we'll use my maiden name as a middle name, I actually like it as a first name but S has vetoed.
I love Sally for a girl but Sarah is one of A's middle names.
That's a start CK!
S's real name is Robert so he suggested that as a middle but I've said no chance because its his dads name!

Not planning 3 (though its often on my mind at the moment!) but just to say eldest has two middle names after family and youngest has one middle name, chosen just because I liked it! I did try to follow suit for her, but would have ended up picking names just to 'match' rather than ones I liked. I thought it would be odd, but its really not. Just thought I'd throw that in!

I wouldn't let the Sarah / Sally thing stop me from using the name btw

WAS. I didnt even know they were connected apart from my primary school teacher was known as Sally but was a sarah.

I really wouldn't worry about the Sally/Sarah thing especially as it's only a middle name. Although Sally started as a diminutive of Sarah I think it's definitely evolved into a name in it's own right.

I wouldn't worry about Sally/Sarah either - I agree with BG that Sally is now considered a name in its own right.
As for naming #3, I'm fine if this one is a girl, but struggling for a boy's name as we've used our two favourites.

I have names I would use for #3 but getting H to agree would be totally different. -No plans for #3 (ATM)

I had no idea that Sally and Sarah were connected until the other day. As for naming a third, we struggled naming number 1 and are struggling just as much with no 2. I could name them really easily but H and I have very very different tastes in names and he is not one of these men who see all the hard work their wife has gone through in labour and give in.

I have enough names I love, to have another 4 boys (found girls names harder, as I never wanted a girl, but have 1 I love)
My eldest has 1 middle name, my youngest has 2, all family names too.
Luckily, my H gave me free reign over naming J.

I could easily name another 3 boys but really struggle with girls names. F & T both have family middle names whereas R just has one we liked as we didn't have another family name we wanted to use!
