Our top 2 names at the moment are:
Which do you prefer??

I love Lucy, so I'd have to say Lucy Isobel

Lucy Isobel for me too!!

poppy isobel for me

I'd go for Lucy. Purely because there are a lo of Poppy's and Isobel's around now, so a least she'd have one less common name.

I agree with IDC - I know several babies/toddlers called Poppy but none called Lucy so I'd go with that one as it's a 'normal' name but unusual for this generation

I love Poppy, it's our girls name too! I've worked in childcare for 10 years and find choosing names very hard, I've never known a Poppy, adult or child.
Lucy is lovely too though too! Both very pretty names!

I'd go Lucy.

I'd go Lucy- I am slightly biased as its my name and I live it! I also know of a couple of Poppy's as it seems to be getting really popular

Lucy, but then like la1510, I'm also biased
Both lovely names though.

Lucy here as Poppy is too popular now.

Well my little girl is called Lucy Isabelle (diff spelling!) so obviously I prefer that :-)

I prefer Lucy too. I do like Poppy, but it's too popular for me.

I'd go with poppy it's a lovely name
17/04/2013 at 13:44
I love both. Lucy is more popular here than Poppy.
I think I'd got for Poppy x
17/04/2013 at 13:45
Lucy for me!

If you're having Isobel as a middle name then i prefer Poppy with it to Lucy.
However out of Lucy and Poppy i prefer Lucy as a name in it's own right. Imo Lucy Isobel doesn't sound as good together.
