This is my first baby (I have 3 angel babies) and unfortunatley I have no emotion about it other than how scared I am and how will we cope with money? Both my partner and I are still together he works full time where as I do supply for a nursery agency as and when I can get the hours.. We are struggling for money as it is.. And the baby wasn't planned as I got told I would highly unlikely have children naturally as I suffer with PCOS. However this child is wanted or so I feel it is anyways..
Why am I not excited though?
Please tell me I am not alone with this.

It's natural mate, I was petrified when I found out with my first, even to the point where I wondered whether I'd made the right decision. But as time goes on it gets better n better. I know how you feel about money, iv just had a load of benefits took off off me and being made redundant in 2 weeks plus tax creduts want me to repay 400 quid! But trying not to stress we will manage n so will u. Just try n relax n enjoy it x

Sadly there is never a right nor a wrong time to have a baby, whatever your age, wherever you live, whatever job you hold you will worry whether it is enough to support a growing family. Nobody can answer the question as only you can decide upon the best way to raise your own baby (the space you need, the materials you are going to use, how you will budget) but you will manage once baby arrives as your mind suddenly switches into 'parent' mode & you automatically start adapting your lifestyle to fit your new arrival.
Try not to worry (easier said than done I know) you will feel differently the moment baby is placed into your arms for the first time.

I'm sure things have developed on since the last post but just thought I would mention...
It's completely normal to feel a little numb about a pregnancy that is soooo wanted as we've been disappointed so many times, in a way we are just waiting for the disappointment.
I am currently going through the amnio question, do it or not do it and just as I was starting to feel ‘pregnant’ and more excited. I’m 14 weeks now with my first and 37 so I feel everything is riding on this one working out, any risk of losing the baby I’m against but then my results came back high as 1:133 so not really that high.
Things are never easy and it was a shock to me how bad I felt through my first trimester. There is no right or wrong way to feel but always talk to your midwife if you have any concerns, they can be really helpful even if you just want to talk about something you don’t want to share with partner, family or friends.
