3 and a half weeks pregnant roughly, not due on my period until tomorrow but took a pregnancy test 4 days before my period was due. It is such early stages will I get past tomorrow ok and will this pregnancy carry on? I am so worried it will all end because it's such early days

Tammy, you should take it as a real positive sign if you got a positive test so early on! That means your hormone levels must be strong.
I was 4 days late before I even got a faint positive and I am now 13 weeks.

I just feel it doesn't count yet and I can't enjoy it properly until I know I am past 4 weeks, I don't drink or smoke and I'm only eating things like veg and fruit, not eating the things they say stay away from during pregnancy. I am also making sure I am getting plenty of rest! I feel as if it's not real yet but thankyou I just need reassuring and stop looking at the negatives and focus on the positives! I'm only 20 years old so I'm at a healthy age

With both of my pregnancies I've had positives before my period was due. DD is now 2 and no2 is due next month.
its more stressful knowing early because you do worry about everything but that's pregnancy for you! There's no bigger/smaller chance of miscarrying or chemical pregnancies just because you haven't missed a period yet x

I went the see the doctor yesterday (this is what put the worry in my head) and all she mentioned was 1 in 4 woman miscarry at this point and it's to early to do anything at this stage. So I feel I just have to wait and see what happens, I understand it is early but I felt she was saying this part of the pregnancy doesn't count ... I was fine and excited up until then! X

Hi Tammy123 - don't worry about it, try and enjoy it Every lady has the same chance of miscarrying unfortunately, but worry about it if it happens. These early stages are so important, just as important as any other stage!
