Before J I was on the combined pill, and would always have a withdrawal bleed within a few days of stopping. I've just come off Cerazette (mini pill) and was expecting a withdrawal bleed in the same time frame - I know proper AF may take a while but expected the withdrawal bleed. Does it work differently with the mini pill, or does it vary from person to person? Tia.

I didn't have a withdrawal bleed on Cerazette. It took about 6 weeks for AF to return.

I was on Cerazette before TTC, as MrsP said, no withdrawal bleed. AF took 31 days for me and then my cycle stayed at that length.

I always get a withdrawal bleed too. But not this time I came off. So it mustn't follow a hard and fast rule.

As far as I'm aware the withdrawal bleed is a side effect of the combined pill and the oestrogen, and the mini-pill is different being progesterone only. Quite normal not to have a bleed
