Well, the time has come for me to return to work, on Monday.
I'll be mostly on my own as H is being sent away, and everyones tips so far have been.. keep organised..
..so what's your best tips? What will I forget?

I think the being organised this is probably the best tip really! Make sure everything is ready the night before, clothes out for both of you, lunch ready, bags packed etc so you can just get yourself and baby dressed in the morning and go.
Hope it goes ok x

Wait until the last reasonable minute to put your work top on. I used to put an old top on, do breakfast, getting dressed etc. Then when my baby would wipe her face across my front she hadn't just done it on my work clothes.
Get up earlier than you planned just to give yourself an extra five minutes at the end. This is especially important as your baby grows up a bit and then wants to do things for themselves. If you don't allow time for that then things will become stressful.
It will soon become a routine.
Make sure you've labelled up every item of clothing with your baby's name on it so things don't get lost at nursery/child minders

Thanks ladies, we've got most of the essentials at the CMs already, spare clothes, nappies, wipes etc so it's just food and bottles to take each day I guess. Clothing will be fun, I can see her regularly going without her shoes on... Ha! ATM, plan is to give bottle at home, then breakfast there, but that may well change, I guess.
Bottle wise JRj we've sent a tub of formula, and I'll send sterilised bottles each morning. She will make them up fresh, but I've not asked to sterilise, though she would if I asked x

Must check with nursery what their policy is, sterilised bottles would be much easier to provide!
WH boil and cool a kettle the night before and stick it in a flask, save a lot of hassle.
I am dreading it, I have had Sunday night dread for the whole of this month!
