I wanted to pick your brain on silent reflux. I think my fears about P having milk allergy were unfounded as some of her symptoms have gone but the ones she still has possibly point to silent reflux. What do you think -
Frequent choking on feeds from breast and bottle.
Feeding more and more frequently when i dont think she is hungry.
Crying straight after a feed, going stiff, arching back.
Loads of hiccups.
Lots of sneezing.
Does any of this sound familiar? Gaviscon doesnt seem to have made any difference though.....

WH has gone to bed but some of the above is sounding familiar to what she has told me.
Little S was prescribed Gaviscon but she's too scared to give it to him as it made Big S worse when he was put on it.

Sounds like it from what you've described and previously said. The main symptoms both mine have shown is arching the back, making sort of bleating type noises, bubbling from the mouth, generally not liking being flat. Neither have ever brought up wind well.
Big S was a lot worse than his little brother.
As Rusty said. I've been given gaviscon but last time big S was a screaming in pain he was so bunged up so I'm just going to tell the gp it didn't work. She told me to feed it diluted in a bottle 6x a day which is a bit of a faff for a bf baby really.
If they're on formula it's a bit easier as you can switch to enfamil but a bit harder if bf or mix feeding like I am.
Reflux is hell, I hope you get some help
