Hi ladies been thinking of number 2 recently and started thinking of wraps/carriers. What do you suggest? Also anyone got any reviews on the graco evo? Thanks ladies, I promise to be a better MDer x

We used a Connecta with Matilda from birth until she was about 2.5. Loved it.
I have that still and I have a Moby to try out this time. I know a lot of people don't get on with it but the babies look so comfy in them and I got it for a bargain, that I felt it was worth trying out.

Another connecta vote. Used ours for years last time. Originally for the solar weave but it seemed to dig into S's legs a bit when he wore shorts so I swapped it for the normal one.

I like the look of the Evo, never used it myself though. Also reminds me of the Oyster and of the MaxiCosy version though I can't remember it's name!
Sling wise, we used the Moby for a few weeks while E seemed to be suffering with reflux and wouldn't be put down, she went to sleep right away in it as it was so cosy but I then couldn't easily unwrap it to put her down and in the early days I was trying to sleep when she did. I know they aren't well liked on here but I love the Baby Bjorn carrier - E always sleeps in it but I can then get her out easily enough - E had clicky hip as a newborn and while we waited for the scan I asked the consultant if it was OK to sling in the BB as i'd heard bad things about it, and he said absolutely fine, especially for the short periods we'd use it - I'm not strong enough to lump E round more than a few hours, she's too big. That said the Connecta looks similar in terms of it's opening and closing so if we were buying again i'd consider that one.

Yet another Connecta vote. You really can't go wrong with them. They give baby a good supportive seat and are really comfortable for you too. E is 13 months and we used ours yesterday going for a walk. There's no complicated adjusting to fit between different people and you can reverse all the buckles and use the plain black side to make it more man friendly too.

I have a Babyhawk Mei Tai, a ringsling and a woven wrap. I love them all but for different reasons. Though the woven wrap is probably my favourite for the versatility, though I can understand why people think they look faffy. It's so supportive and I can carry E for hours in it though, even H wears her in it!

Pretty much word for word WRustyS - used a Connecta with #2 until 2.5 (when the bump started to get in the way!) and loved it, will definitely be using it for #3. Have also bought a Moby this time from another MDer, looking forward to using that at first too.

Another connecta user here. But tricky to put on at first and the instructions are a bit useless for a sling novice but once you get used to it it's great.

I have the Graco Evo- totally love it and could not recommend enough! We didn't bother with the carry cot (so glad as he would have outgrown it at around 11 weeks) but the pram lay flat enough from birth- easy to assemble and light weight

We used a Kari-Me (stretchy wrap like a Moby, just a different brand) until Zoe was around 5 mths. Could have used it longer but we had a bit of a heatwave and it was quite hot.
I tried a Connecta but didn't get on with it so went with a Babyhawk mei tai and then used that until she was 3.5 yrs old.
