You add Gaviscon to the weekly shopping list. Urgh, I'm now wondering what other pregnancy joys I've forgotten about.

That I do not miss!!!
I have some Ranitidine I was going to RAHK if you want it, it worked way better than Gaviscon for me.
I won't remind you of any, better to be in a bubble of ignorance!!

Don't buy it, you can get it on prescription. I gave up on Gaviscon and am now on Ranitidine which is fantastic. I take it twice a day and if I forget I am very quickly reminded why it is such fab stuff.
Haha, I was thinking of you earlier as I remembered us moaning about it last time.
Ooh, not heard of that one. Are you sure? Maybe we should finally sort out a meet?

On prescription, really? Cool.
Do I need to speak to my GP, or can mw help out?

Haha, I remember!! Second time around it was far worse for me, she must have been in a worse position. Gaviscon did nothing for me in fact a friend recommended Refershers and they worked better but I thought it was a waste of calories!!
Happy to send you the stuff, it was recommended to me on here. Also, we do need to meet up, got to meet your pester person too as we have same day babies! FB me your addy and I can pop it in the post for you.
JB - where I live (Essex) they no longer give heartburn medication on prescription, not even for pregnant women.
Boo to the gaviscon but yay that you'll be joining us on 3rd tri soon :-)

Will fb you now. And yes, we should all get together, I think I'm about half way between you both? Could meet here?
Ally, end of this week, scary!

Gosh VE, that is shocking. Can you even buy Ranitidine over the counter ?
BG, you need a dr to prescribe it, however my midwife basically popped in and asked one of them to write it and I picked it up the next day.

I was given gaviscon on prescription. My MW gave it to me.....Essex too! This is unless it has changed in the last year.

Will ask my mw at next appointment tabs see what she says.
Hardly a 'national' health service when it's different wherever you are...

I third the meet! Would love to meet you VE (and your two girlies of course)
YKYAA3TW... They open the side gate at the station to let you skip the queue (or, to let your massive bump/a r s e through). Don't worry BG, it happened to me too
ETA just to clarify - your a r s e is most definitely not massive. And a r s e is not such a bad swear word it needs filtering!

I refuse to believe I'm that big until I get given 2 seats on the train.
Y'know that'll be this weeks incident now...
