So I had to tell my employers I was expecting before Xmas (I thought I was about 5 weeks) due to a bleed and having to attend a&e the night before. They said they would wait til after I had had my scan to start the ball rolling.
I told them on Monday (first day back since Xmas) that I had my scan and all was well. One of my bosses (I effectively have 2) said he had notified HR and was waiting to hear back from them as to the next steps to take as it had been a while since he had dealt with it. Today he said he had heard back from them and would catch me when he had a minute. I asked him a few hours later would he get chance to talk to me today and he said "Naaaaaah"
I am a bit peeved as I know they have to do a risk assessment etc and particularly as I am on a floor entirely on my own most of the time, I think its pretty important.
What did your employers do and how quickly?

First time round they acknowledged with a letter, gave me a risk assessment straight away, then one every trimester after that. Told them by 25 weeks when I was intending to start my leave abc just git a letter after that confirming when it would start and my pay entitlement. 2nd time round I got made redundant at 9 weeks lol. Just keep pestering him but u should get it all in writing anyway and they have to do a risk assessment every trimester x
