It's a week since I had my section and I honestly have absolutely zero appetite. I'm not talking I start eating and then don't have much, I could honestly go a whole day just with juice and a few cups of tea and I'm not looking for anything to eat. Every night since I've been home 90% of my dinner has gone in the bin, I've even had takeaway from one of my favourite places and I ate about 4 mouthfuls.
Did anyone else have this? Could it still be because of the spinal?

I was the same as Ferbs. I had a forceps delivery and lost quite a bit of blood so needed to keep my iron levels up. I had no appetite at all for a few weeks and am still not the same now tbh. My H had to keep bringing me food. I found little and often better than huge meals.

Thanks ladies, always feel better when you read someone else has gone through the same. I have been eating but only because H keeps reminding me I've not had anything and then bringing me food. Hopefully will get back to normal soon then!

I buy boxes and boxes of those little flapjack bites from Tesco and keep them next to me on the sofa. I usually just absent mindedly dig in then!

I can't help but just wanted to and how you are all getting on. I couldn't post on your BA thread for a few days as I was having log in problems and now I can't remember if I ever did post in there or not! But I'm over the moon that your baby is here :) x

I was exactly the same, didn't regain my full appetite for around 6-8 weeks. According to the health visitor it is quite common but normally rectifies after about 4 weeks xxx

Oh TT that's so sweet, I was so happy to end up back on the Tri threads with you and all the lovely ladies, I hope you and A are both doing well (also meant to say A's name was in our top 3!)
Thanks Luna, it's quite a strange feeling as I loved my food before and could eat with the best of them, now even the thought of a big meal instantly puts me off. It's helping with the weight loss at least!xx
