Charlie is 3yrs, he does walk pretty much everywhere but we are off on hols in november and need a buggy with the amount of walking we are going to be doing.
I need an umbrella fold
must have a hood
and most importantly it has to have good size seat - as he is a big boy with long legs
I will be buying a 2nd hand one so any links to ebay will be appreciated - lol
any suggestions ladies???

the maclaren xlr is the most spacious stroller you can get, i love it, my mum has one that was my baby sister shes still comfy enough in it to nap at a party recently!!! And shes in age 6 trousers for height!!!
the xt has the same length just slightly narrower, we have one and i love it!!! the hoods on both are fab!

Is there a buggu out there that pushes as nice as my Silvercross 3D pram.I was having a look at the Pop,thought that might be nice,it seems to have lower handles, but the seat looked a bit short.
I have a Toys R Us red one, might be the same one Rachel said.Hood pops off, handles too high.I've been spoilt with the 3D cos I've gone right off the Toys R Us one.
Had a nosey at the Loola too. It's on the list, but the handle looked high, and it's more a pushchair than a buggy for a toddler.I want one that's as good as the 3D but in buggy mode.
Getting fussy me.

I want something for Matilda that's as nice as Merlin's 3D.The Loola looks good, quite expensive, maybe the handles okay then,I'm 5'4 ish. What's that with the back wheels?Looks like strange brakes or some thing. That puts me off a little.
Didn't think mine was called Zen,probably its predecessor it sounds like the same problem.
I'll go scour ebay in a couple of weeks.I have to lay low,I've been to Bluewater again today

brakes good, its an on off switch, more reliable than the maclarens brake, the loolas handles spin so they point up in or down iyswim id say it would be a good height for you my aunts 5''2 and she loves the height, i got mine 2nd of gumtree, with the cosytoes raincover n carseat adaptors for £90 the coseytoes was brand new and is sooo warm, wish id had a loola for jack x
whatcha been buying??

mummabear - I just had a look at the zen on ebay, it looks ok.
The hood wouldnt bother me, as I say we only really need it for our hols, may not use it much after that.
Question I have is if it is roomy?? Charlie is long and ive found that a few buggies his legs drag along the floor (chicco london was one)
