I took Kenny who is 2 to see santa in his grotto the other day thinking he would love it. He usually talks to anyone but he totally freaked out when he saw santa and ran out the grotto screaming 'santa no nice' and started crying his eyes out. Oh dear!! Better not get the santa suit out on xmas day then.

Anyone elses LO had a bad santa experience?

Lol poor Kenny! We had Santa come to our Playgroup christmas party and give out presents yesterday and it was hilarious watching the difference in the children. Some were really pleased to see him and bounded up to get a gift and a cuddle, some eyed him suspiciously before sidling up and taking a present from his outstretched hand (that would be my Neve then!), and a couple shrieked and burst into tears!

I guess its not everyday you have to chat to an old man with a big white beard and a red suit!

Our lo hasn't meet Santa yet so we'll wait and see what sort of reaction we'll get! Going somewhere special on Sunday so fingers crossed it's a good experience..

Lily had her Xmas party today at nursery anf they told me tonight she did not like santa very much! It was made worse when the fire alarm went off and santa held the nursery door open for the children to go out of - they had to pick Lily up as she would have prefered to stay in the 'burning' building than walk past santa. Doesn't bode well for Saturday as we are off to the seaside to do a train ride and the final stop is santa's workshop and a visit to see santa (

Kenny is still telling everyone santa no nice. Electricity man came to read the meter yesterday and Kenny spread christmas cheer by telling him exactly how he feels about santa. He hates santa but wants him to bring him a bike, thats 2 year old appreciation for you. Im looking forward to christmas for the 1st time in years and its all down to my wee man.
