Hi my son is now two years old and I am looking to get him a lighter easier to handle buggy.
I currently have a silver cross pram/buggy (the new style one)
I want to buy one that is comfortable and has a good hood to keep of the sun/wind ect.
Any ideas on what is best to purchase? it does not have to be silvercross.

As a big pushchair tart,I could list loads for you-however,In a magazine recently I spotted the new silvercross pop I think, very nice,£99 pull down sunshade, comfy grip handles, good size shopping basket......I like it,but have to hold hands with my eldest so have to have bar handle so it's easier to steer.
Have a look on the kiddiecare website, they have so many brands there and good prices.
I get mine from ebay, had some cracking bargains off there, and I've had a fair few!!!
Have fun pushchair shopping!

As Mummabear said Kiddicare or ebay are good places to look..If you have a big Mothercare or a Toys RUs or another big shop where you can try a few,see how they are to push,it'll be worth a visit, even if you don't buy from there you can find a make you like and hunt down a bargain on line.
Don't recommend Toys R Us own brand.

Hi thanks for the info ladies.
I have been doing a bit of searching online today when I can, I have seen a few I like but I agree I do need to go to a shop and try some out first.

After reading many, many reviews and searching online, I have decided to order the Maclaren Techno XT (black in colour)
The RRP price is £195 but found it on many websites for £165 then I came accross a promo code on a website realting to mothercare the codeto enter is (AF9) use it when ordering from mothercare and you will get another 10% off at the moment also they are dong free delivery on orders over, I think it was £50 so all in all it cost me £148.50 and I am very pleased with that.
What sold it for me was it has adjustable handles and a sun visor attached to the hood and also the hood unzips at the back and extends to cover child and keep off sun ect. It also comes with rain cover included and had lots of 5 star reviews. Think it also looks good too, I just hope it lives up to my expectations when it arrives.
