Poppy had them over new year and she was away from her child minders for a week, she got them on NYE and didn't go back until 11th Jan, even then they hadn't gone, they'd just scabbed over.
    Hope she's ok soon.

Doc told me to keep lo away from nursery for a week - after a week he was pretty much back to normal.

Definately give her a bath and put a tub of bicarb of soda in the bath - it helps to dry out the spots and stop them itching so much

I have just been googling this as Cally has a few spots on her back and beside her ear that look like may be chicken pox. LO will be able to go back to nursery as soon as last spot has scabbed over. Calamine lotion and warm baths help, also antihistamine may help, it said they cause drowsiness so may help lo to sleep if they are really itchy. And Calpol or ibuprofen for fever. My older 3 had it years ago and 2 of them didn't have many spots and were not really poorly but the middle one was absolutely covered and quite poorly. I hope you LO is better soon. x
