So Tate is reliably waking between 5/5.30am every day!!! Its exhausting. I know its not because its too light in his room as he has only recently (last couple of weeks had this problem) luka sleeps on but Tate wakes up and is ready to start the day its exhausting, have tried putting him back down he won't have it. Its harder because he shares a room with Luka and we don't want to disturb him. Any tips?? It makes no difference whether the sleeps in the day or not.
also am having a problem with Tates eating...this has been an issue for last 6months or more, its impossible to keep him at the table to eat. He just climbs down out of his chair after a couple of mouthfuls and starts playing with his toys. Our dining room runs through to our lounge so its impossible to restrict access. Its not that he's a fussy eater, just that he can't be bothered to sit still long enough to eat. Im constantly wondering whether he is hungry, he asks for 'treats' all day long. I only really allow him fruit between meals with the very occasional treat so I know he's not filling up on junk. Any ideas please!!!!!

Thanks Mel, he does sit on a booster, because im a hygiene freak I took the straps off as I was washing them after every meal time!! (im sure i've got ocd, i was the same with luka's highchair straps so took them off too!!) but maybe I should strap him in again, I think he would go mental and make such a fuss. He sat good as gold and ate lunch though today, we went out for dinner and he was a bit fidgety.
Whether he goes to bed at 6.30 or 8.30 makes no difference. Today he's gone about half an hour ago, which is an hour later than normal, but because its hot we went for a walk late plus he slept for three hours this afternoon on sofa he was unwakeable so he will def be up early tomorrow...oh well its terry's turn lol!!

we don't have a sure start here. Only hv who is useless! But I might go and see on Wednesday as its the holsI have no swimming lessons so can make baby clinic for once, might get the fatboy (luka!!) weighed too!
Tom woke at 5am for years, You just get on with it, he never once woke in night though and was always in bed at 7pm, and slept 3hrs in the day! I think he's woken in the night in total since he was 6weeks maybe 4 or 5 times so I didn't mind about the 5am waking. I do now as my life is more hectic its more tiring and im older lol!! Thanks mel xx

Nicola i no exactly how you feel, Rileys been like this for a while, the early mornings were the worst and the best i could do was to try ad put him back to bed, which is how i think he came to climb in with us so we could all sleep alittle longer.(not practical i no but it was all we could do)his now thankfully sleeping from 8pm till 6:30-7am,it did take quite a while but we still dont no what made him get up early.
As with the eating his still funny,he will only eat a few mouthfuls of brekki, his started eating all his lunch but only picks at his dinner,he to constantly aske for sweets all day but manage to get by with bananas as he loves them, and raisens if i have them.
All i can say is for us over time by being strict with his his started to settle but eating is the problem,we did see a consultant about his thyroid(normal by the way thank god)and i told her my concerns but she said his a good weight for his age so no need to worry.
Sorry its not much help but just to let you no your not alone.

I am up every morning by 5am! As you will notice if you look at the time of my posts in a morning!
Bronwyn won't go back to sleep, i take her into my bed and she's a right little live wire. Wants to be up and about, yet by 7.30 she wants to sleep! This morning she was asleep in her new pushchair by 7.30 and i dozed on the sofa for an hour!!
And putting her to bed later makes no difference either!!
