MUM2TB, I always found with my kids, they loved the boxes that their toys came in more than the toys too! So much fun to be had with a cardboard box! Also, guys, see below...We've got 5 pairs of FREE tickets to The Baby Show, this 2-4 March at ExCel London. To find out how to win them, just check out Latest Posts on the forum.

I somehow missed the notification that this group had been set up so haven't been on in a while. Loving the photos of all the babies! I can't believe how grown up they are. And interesting that a few of your babies love balloons as Lyra HATES them. She really is petrified to the extent we're nervous taking her to other people's parties!
She turned one a week ago - she isn't walking yet but has been cruising for a few months now. No first words yet either but she is still babbling up a storm, imitating and is communicating really well with gestures - pointing, waving etc. She seems to understand a fair bit as well.
Good luck for your partner's next scan, Kyrie! You poor thing with the chicken pox and flu as well.
Here are a few photos of Lyra on her birthday:
Oh and this happened today:
Are we crazy?! Fingers crossed everything going well, that would be a 20 month age gap!

Mum2TB, I've found the same thing with Lyra and food. We were doing solely baby led weaning to start with and she was great. Now she's quite hit and miss. We've started taking a more combined approach and spoon feeding her nutritious things to make sure she doesn't exist on toast and baby crisps alone 😂.
Weirdly, another sure-fire way of getting her to eat something is slathering it in spices, garlic or pongy cheese. We inadvertently discovered yesterday that she loves gorgonzola as she swiped a slice of pizza off my plate and couldn't get enough.

Thanks everyone! A stress-free pregnancy would be lovely...
Tell me about it Mum2TB - Lyra is a fan of the tantrum! The worst is when she flings herself backwards in frustration. She's done it a few times on the hard floor in the kitchen 😭.

Urgh yes sugar! We had another one today I just let her cry for a while as she bumped fists on the carpet.
Also has anyone had successful transition to cows milk without any problems? Rose has been having lots of loose pale.nappies since the switch two days ago.

Matilda is the same with tantrums she stamps her feet if we take anything off her.
I havent started giving Matilda cows milk to drink just yet. I got the follow on milk and just gradually introducing bits of cows milk. Matildas nappies are always different I’m always googling the colour to make sure it’s ok haha!

Congratulations sugar that's great news!! There is 18 months between Harry and his brother Dylan I'm glad he was younger then when he came along with my eldest who was nearly 3 he's told me he wants to go back to when it was just mummy and daddy 😥 he does love them and misses them when he's at school but Dylan just loves both of them he's got such a big heart and always wants to change Harry's bum or get nappies clothes wet wipes. My eldest was lazy and never wanted to help no matter how fun I tried to make it. So just something I found worked with Dylan was making him aware there was a baby in my belly even though he was only one he still kissed my belly and knew. I even played dolls with him I tried that with my eldest but that didn't work lol.
Harry has been on cow's milk for a while now before he was one just because I'd done it with my other 2. As I fed them what we ate they would get milk in mash and porridge etc I find when their poo goes a pale colour they have drank too much. Do you warm it up? I dont but health visitors suggested it to my friend? I found as soon as Harry started having cow's milk more and more his reflux disappeared. Cow's milk is filling so if she's off food as well less the Oz you give and might see a difference in her poo. Harry is a milk monster (all my kids are) but he now only has 2 a day. If I remember the first time he had proper bottle of cow's milk his poo was slightly harder but his poo with reflux was horrible and he seemed to enjoy it. Don't switch yet just give her belly time to adjust to the new milk and see how she goes if you don't see it get any better I'd get advice she may be intolerant you never know.
Harry pulls a good tantrum and like Lyra he throws himself backwards or sidewards always on the hardest floor. Then he lays there with his face planted into the floor kicking his feet and crying, oh the joys I'm currently going through the terrible 2s too sometimes they both go at the same time for the same toy and I think my head's going to explode. Off to bed now after 2 weeks off one from chicken pox the other half term im so excited about the school run tomorrow and I'm actually prepared 😂
