Coby (3yrsold) has hit the stage where every tiny thing you say to him he replies "HOW?"
i feel myself telling him all day because "I SAID SO" i feel terrible i try to explain why but sometimes it is because i said so!!
i remember my little sister going through this stage but she always asked "WHY?"
anyone else going through the same thing and when does it settle down? please dont say when he moves out!! haha

You're right,it doesn't stop. They don't just ask the question once, you find yourself answering the same question over and over too. When they get older the questions just get harder or too embarassing and you point them in the direction of the internet.
It's all good though,it's great they want to learn, just hard work

my 4 year old still does this - i reflect the question back to them and say 'well, what do you think? etc' normally works as she doesnt like answering and then gets bored as she doesnt frustrate me -
also play 'dumb', and say ' you know, mummy doesnt think she knows...what do you think is the answer' etc etc, they also like the fact they can teach you some things (even if not accurate) and makes them feel important...
AND if they still persists i do answer back 'why not?' if im having one of those days! lol
bless them....... x
