My dd is 15 months. She goes to bed at 6pm and used to wake anywhere between 6.30am-7.30am but for the last week or so she has been waking at around 5-5.30am resulting in me usually bringing her into bed with us (a habit i don't want to get into as i'm expecting another baby in 8 weeks)
She still has one nap a day for an hour or so, but since waking early has sometimes had a second nap.
She isn't walking yet but does alot of crawling. I have offered her more food which she is eating but it hasn't made a difference. I also pushed her bedtime back half an hour last night but that didn't help and she just seems more grumpy and tired.
Any ideas what i can do?

What sort of window covering do you have in her room? Now the days are getting longer the sunlight is appearing sooner which can cause early waking.

We have a black out blind so it's still really dark in her room. She has recently changed beds and bedrooms as we have moved her out of the nursery in preparation for the new arrival...but she's been in there over a month and hasn't shown any signs of not being comfortable and doesn't wake in the night at all.

You could try moving her evening feed back a little so she is fuller for longer before waking.
It could come down to the subtle changes taking place about her, she has changed bedroom, mummy's changing shape & people talking about the 'new baby'. LO will notice the small things that are slowly altering & know that something in their life/routine is about to change. DD1 had disturbed sleep a couple of weeks before & a few after DD2 was born whilst adjusting to mummy dealing with restless nights with contractions & then nightfeeds.
