Toddlers & Older Children <

I have a toddler who is 2 & a half and will be 3 in July 2010 and we are at the stage in potty training were he tells me he wants a wee or a poo and he is happy going to the toliet and doing a wee or poo on the toliet, and my h.v and my support worker up at his local nursery has said that I can now go onto the next stage of potty training, where he has big boy pants on and just use his pants as he will feel alot more, we have tried pull up nappy pants but he has got sensetive skin and sometimes they make his eczema come out.

from a personal opinion and as a nursey worker i cant stand pull ups, if i'm honest i feel they can confuse children as they dont feel nothing like normal pants and just like a nappy which u can pull up and down rather than stick tabs on and off,
sounds to me like your little man will be fine in big boy pants, allow him to choose some from the shops which will make them all the more fun to wear
be prepared for a few accidents but just make sure his bag is stocked up with spare pants and trousers/shorts and you should be all good to go
