My kids love homemade meatballs with spagetti. All my lot clear their plates on this one,and they eat it quick before someone else does.I don't measure this accurately.
Basically whizz 4 slices of bread with a teaspoon of parsley, teaspoon garlic powder,2ozgrated cheese.Add that to 8oz pork mince.Add 1 egg(to bind),big squirt of ketchup 1 chopped peeled apple.Whizz it till smooth ish,add tiny bit of water if necessary.Fun bit next, roll into meatballs,3 year old could join in here(no finger licking, you have to keep an eye on that, but usually they like that bit)Roast the meatballs at 180 for about 45 mins.
Sauce bit is a basic tin of tomatoes, garlic,Lea &Perrins, and basil.Another squirt of ketchup for extra tomato flavour..Once the meatball are cooked, pour the sauce over and pop it back in the oven while you do spagetti.
You can make the meatballs and keep in the fridge till you're ready to cook to save time at meal time.
Most kids like a slurp on spagetti, and even my fussy nephew likes this one.

jos meatball is recipe is fantastic, my two love it! as do me and there daddy, its great because i make tiny meatballs for them and normal for us,
Jack likes making his own pizzas, i buy readymade wholemeal bases from waitrose and then have gratted cheeses, and all kinds of toppings for him to throw on, thats a huge hit!
also try annabell karmels website, thats my cooking bible!
