    Hi ladies
Sian is now 16 months & up until last week so took about 150mls of milk in a bottle before bed & when she got up.
For the last few days when i bring her bottle to her she just says no & refuses to drink it. It means she is going to bed with no milk.
She will take about 50 mls in the morning before saying 'all done'
She gets milk in her cereal, yoghurts & cheese etc.
Basically I want to know if this is normal or should i be worried?
What age do they stop taking bottles?
    Many Thanks

Hi hun, my eldest stopped having bottles at around 13/14 months, she just wouldn't drink milk at all. I just made sure to give her yoghurts and cheese, and to use milk on cereal etc and she's fine. She still doesn't like drinking milk unless it's chocolate flavour! Whereas my youngest still has a bedtime bottle and she's nearly 21 months.

    hi

i would see it as a good thing as my first still wanted a bottle when she was 3!.

ethan is 20mths and now has 8oz at bed, but no other times.

it is more of a comfort i guess and its part of his routine to lie in bed with his bottle to wind down.

i would say as long as your lo is having cheese yoghurts etc then thats fine, they eat better when they cut out milk too, i fiund that anyway xx

Perfectly fine if she has plenty of dairy in her diet I wouldn't worry. Lily stopped her bottles at about 13 months ish occasionally she will ask for milk and I give it her in a sippy cup- maybe try this if you still want your lo to have milk to drink.

Same as ILMG Gabe stopped bottles himself at 13 months and hasnt really had much milk since, he sometimes has a cup of cows milk. I'd see it as a good thing and ditch the bottles while she is not missing them !! xx

hey amy gave up her bottle at about 12 months and now doesnt drink hardly any milk but i make sure she has yoghurt, cheese etc .

Amy will occasionally drink milk if its in her cup with the wiggly straw - maybe worth a go

She does have a drink of water before bed
