Good morning all,
I hope you've all had lovely weekends - hopefully you are all ok if you've had bad weather.
Lulu - sorry Maldives is looking to be too much, that's such a shame. I hope you manage to find somewhere else you are just as excited about.
Enjayee - good luck for tomorrow! I agree with your H - it's just a chat, and it could lead to something really good! Did you get to the march?
Tayto - hello my dear, glad you got on alright at the dentist, did you enjoy your weekend? Hope you're coping in the 2ww - when is AF due? I'm doing ok, I'm 5/6dpo (not really keeping track) and feeling quite relaxed so far. It may all change this week!
Mrs 50s - how's your 2ww going?
Enjoy your week off Hoddy!
AFM - 5/6dpo something like that - all ok so far, just plodding along. My washing machine went kaput at the weekend, so we've had to get a new one, AND we lost a fence panel in the wind. Had a lovely productive but relaxing weekend, got lots of baking done.
Hi to all who follow. xx

Morning Sally! Sorry to hear the troubles about the machine and the fence - you'll have your hands full! What were you baking at the weekend? Any flashes?! Hope the 2ww flies on by for you x
AFM - H's gran has just died so I may not be on much this week - we're just making arrangements to go to Ireland now. TTC wise, pretty sure AF is on her way which I should be sad about but am kinda glad as at least the cramping in my right ovary will stop! Might go see the docs about that next week actually.
Hello to all who follow x

Hi tayto - I'm so sorry about H's gran - lots of love coming your way. Take care of yourselves. x
Def get yourself to the docs next week.
(I made quiche and buns, no pics as we had the quiche for tea, and lunch today and the buns have been demolished by work!)

SallyLou - Sorry to hear about your washing machine pain in the butt when they go tho isn't it! The baking sounds lovely!
Tayto - I am really sorry to hear about your H's gran :( Take care of both of you :)! Go to the Dr's don't put it off!
Nothing to report here :)

Hello all - getting involved in my 1st weekly chat thread! Bear with me whilst I get my head round these abbreviations!
Sallylou, I lost a fence panel too in the wind too! I'm hoping our handy DIY neighbour will come to our rescue.
Sorry to hear about your H's Gran Tayto. My H lost his Grandad just over a week ago so we're just getting ready for the funeral on Friday - he did well though - almost 91!
Take care everyone x

Tayto I am so sorry to hear that :( Sending you loads of hugs. Definitely make sure you see a doctor about pain like that.
SallyLou - A weekend of baking sounds brill! What sort of things do you like to make?
Swill - sorry to hear your H's Grandad passed away as well.
AFM, managed to get our spare room sorted and had a really productive day today of taking it all to the tip, hoovering and cleaning it out. Certainly saves us a lot of hassle when (hopefully) a baby is on its way.
Sending love and hugs to everyone who needs them right now x

Hi to all the newbies, I would normally reply to all your threads but my internet at work is playing up so I'll say hello to you all here instead. I've been through the tests so any of you about to start them I'm happy to try and answer any questions.
Sally - Sorry about your washing machine and fence how annoying! Your weekend sounds lovely apart from that though. I hope the rest of the 2ww doesn't drive you crazy!
Tayto - Sorry to hear about H's gran hope you are both doing ok. Hope you manage to get a doc's appointment.
CC - Hi! Hope you're doing ok.
Swill - Hi! Sorry to hear about your H's Grandad.
Hoddy - Sounds like you've been really productive well done!
AFM - Weekend was busier than planned but still nice, over too quickly as usual! Nothing much else to report still no holiday booked booooo!

Tayto, sorry about H's gran. I hope the family are all doing ok.
Sallylou, hurrah for a new gadget even if it's not ideal timing! I hope the 2ww passes quickly for you.
Hello to CC and Swill, welcome to the weekly threads Swill!
Hoddy and Lulu, nice to have busy weekends, especially when they're productive too.
Afm, I have a confession to make, will see if I can show you something.

So on Saturday believing I was 5dpo, for absolutely no reason at all I decided to poas. Ridiculous. Then I thought I could see a line, a real squinter, but other people could apparently see it too (see above). No idea why I got 2 really strong positive opks, and ewcm, and a post-ov temp rise all for 5th Jan because clearly noone gets a bfp at 5dpo but this whole cycle has been really screwy. I'm assuming instead I ov'd after my first positive opk which put me at 9dpo on Saturday.
Cautiously excited! The next 8 weeks will be long.

Eekkkkk Mr's 50's!!! Congrats - so delighted for you!
Thanks everyone for your kind wishes for H's gran xx
Sally - your baking sounds lovely - I enjoy baking treats too but I'm my own best customer so best not to do it too often!
CC - hello lovely xx
Swill - Sorry to hear about your H's grandad - H's gran was also almost 91 - it's great when they get that far but doesn't make it any easier. Hope your H is ok for the funeral on Friday x
Hoddy - good stuff on the spare room - always good to get stuff like this out of the way just in case!
Lulu - sorry no holiday booked - we've looked into Machu Pichu and it's too expensive too so not sure what we will do either!
AFM - Off to Ireland this evening for the funeral, back Thursday night. I think I'm 12DPO today and stupidly did a test which was a BFN. Gonna ring docs today for an app for the ovary pain anyway.
Hello to all who follow & vibes to those who need them.

Oh wow Mrs 50s! How exciting!
Thanks all for the messages for H's Grandad. Tayto I hope all goes as well as it can do tomorrow xx
13/01/2015 at 14:06
Thanks swill xx
13/01/2015 at 14:07
Oh and, meant to add, I've booked an app to talk to the doc next Thursday about the ovary pains I'm getting. Not feeling too optimistic as I've never had a good experience with this surgery - they can be quite dismissive!
13/01/2015 at 15:00
Congratulations Mrs50s, wonderful news xxxx
13/01/2015 at 15:24
Congratulations Mrs50's, so pleased for you.
13/01/2015 at 16:23
Congratulations Mrs 50s!
Tayto - I hope the funeral goes as well as can be expected. Hope the doctors goes ok too!
14/01/2015 at 08:26
Mrs50s! Amazing news! Congratulations. x
Swill - sorry to hear about your H's gran. Did you get your fence sorted? We're due strong winds again tonight so I full expect to lose another panel!
Hows your week off going Hoddy? I normally stick to cakes etc, but I'm pretty comfortable in the kitchen, cooking is one of my favourite things to do.
Lulu - any more thoughts where you'd like to go holiday wise? We've not booked anything yet either.
Tayto - I hope the funeral goes as well as it can do. x Glad you've booked a docs appointment, hopefully they won't be dismissive.
AFM - nothing much to report! Hope you're all ok. xx

Morning everyone :)
Swill - Hello and welcome to the TTC thread's! Fingers crossed your stay here will be a short one :)
Hoddy - Feels good to get a room sorted out doesn't it! We did it with what would be our nursery recently and walking in there is pleasant now haha!
Mrs 50's - Congratulations! Wishing you a healthy happy 8 month's :)!
Lulu- Hope you get a holiday booked it's nice to have something to look forward too! We have two mini breaks in the UK this year and I can not wait for them both!
Tayto - I hope the funeral has gone as well as it can do! Lots of hugs :)
SallyLou - Hope you are okay today :)
AFM I am starting to think more seriously about TTC and what I have to do before hand etc - I am looking for May/June time still but I have a few thing's to sort out...!
Random question from my consultant appointment a letter will have gone to my GP with a plan of action etc...Do you think my surgery will give me a copy of that letter or do I have to go down the official route to get a copy of it.. So when I attend an appointment I can go I am here for a swab for x y z instead of I am here for a swab no idea what it is actually for?!
I have realised I have to make at least 3 appointments prior to TTC! I am certainly getting my money's worth from the NHS!

Work still crazy busy so still can't do personals :-(
Just wanted to update that I had the chat with the recruiter I wrote about last week ... I've been put forward for an interview for a really good job which is SO much more what I want to do in terms of career and the company have been on my Watch List since I moved to Denmark. Interview is on Wednesday next week, I don't yet know if it's a one or two step process (assuming a two step process) but I am keeping EVERYTHING crossed as I'm increasingly miserable here, particularly due to the b*tching that goes on, I was accused yesterday of screwing something up which wasn't my fault. I decided to ignore it but it's still upsetting. Anyway, I'm not telling the company I'm interviewing for about fertility treatment as it could take months yet and besides, I don't want to put my life on hold for it. I'm not counting my chickens as I'm going to up against stiff competition but it gave me a boost as it did remind me that I'm not necessarily stuck here :-)
