It's finally here! Happy Friday all! How is everyone? Anyone got exciting weekend plans?
AFM - We're off to Ikea in MK tomorrow as we need to get some bits for our guest bedroom. We're under pressure to finish it as my mum is over in two weeks! Really looking forward to her visit. On Sunday then, we're off to Bicester to meet H's cousin & her family plus do some shopping. TTC wise, AF is easing up but **TMI Alert**, I've managed to get a really bad thrush infection - was on a strong antibiotic for my tooth 2 weeks ago so I reckon that's what's caused - hoping it'll clear up soon as we'll be heading into fertile territory in a few days.
Hello to all who follow & vibes for those that need them x

Morning tayto - happy Friday! :-)
Enjoy your shopping trip this weekend - I hope your thrush clears up soon, not at all what you want!
Babysitting my niece tomorrow night, and then off out for a meal with the inlaws on Sunday which will be nice.
TTC wise - still no AF - CD29.
Hi to all x

Happy Friday Ladies!
Tayto - Hope the thrush clears up. Enjoy shopping!
Sallylou - Do you still have the spotting?
AFM - Meeting a couple of friends tomorrow one of them has recently had her baby so going to meet the baby. Feel awful as I haven't really been looking forward to it but I know I'll be fine once I'm there and I'm now looking forward to some cuddles. I feel the size of a house today, I've been so good diet wise all week then H suggested we go out for a curry last night so all my good work has been undone lol!
TTC wise - waiting for the call from the clinic to hopefully confirm next week, fingers crossed!

Hope you enjoy your cuddles tomorrow and it's not too hard for you. Fingers crossed the clinic calls today!
I have had a bit off spotting on and off - and only when I (TMI) wipe. I had a spot in my knickers but it was neither here nor there. It's old brown blood too.
10/10/2014 at 10:00
Do you normally get spotting like that? Maybe it might be worth a test?! Fingers crossed for you!
10/10/2014 at 10:14
Sally - I'd agree with Lulu - do a test cos brown blood like that wouldn't be AF, I don't think anyway!
Lulu - I remember you mentioning that friend - that's great you've managed to get some time to go see her. You will feel all the better for it, I promise. I think it was Dolly that said (her acupuncturist told her I think?) it's good for us to be around babies so we can visualise what we'll be like when we have our own. (yes, when, not if!). Don't feel bad about one naughty curry, we're allowed a few off-days! Hope all stays ok with the clinic x

Hello ladies. (seems I can't keep away from you all)
Tayto - Sounds like you've got a lovely weekend planned and really pleased that your AF pains have eased. Enjoy your shopping trips and make sure you treat yourself! I've never been to Bicester but H and I always have an annual Christmas outing at Cheshire Oaks, but heard Bicester is a bit more upmarket!
Sally - I would test. I agree with T, brown spotting is a sign of implantation.
LuLu - The build up to stuff like that is so hard but I think you'll have a lovely time once your there. Hope you get the call soon.
AFM, Had some more spotting last night and really thought it was all over because I'd had some lower back pain, fortunately it stopped but I was still worried. Thankfully I had an evening planned with the girls, we met for food and then on to the cinema to watch Gone Girl, which was fab, if you've read the book it's very true to the book which isn't always the case, anyway it really took my mind off things. Woke up this morning and things appear to be ok. I'm a bit constipated so I think that might be causing my back pain. I've also got the dreaded sniffles and I can't stop sneezing but I just think it's all part of it so the more the symptoms I get the more happier I am.
Hi to all who follow. xxxx

I do tend to get a bit of spotting sometimes, but it wouldn't normally take 3 days for AF to turn up! Will see if she arrives today and test in the AM. Thanks ladies, I just assumed she was on her way so hadn't really thought about it other than wishing she'd arrive already.
Claire - hope the spotting stays away and you don't feel too rough. Being constipated can cause all sorts of symptoms so I'm sure that'll be the cause of your backache. x

Tayto - Thank you, I think I will be fine as well. I am going with a freind who has also struggled with ttc (she is starting ivf soon) so I have support as well if I need it.
Claire - I hope you don't get any more spotting that must be so worrying. I saw gone girl last week as well! I was also surprised how true it was to the book which meant I found it a bit slow in places as I knew what was coming and I also disliked the ending as I did with the book, I though the actress who played Amy was great though!
Sally - Fingers crossed for you!
I've just done something a bit stupid I think! Was chattting to a girl at work and babies came up, she asked when I was going to have a baby, instead of brushing off I ended up telling her I don't know if I can as we are having problems! Don't know why I said that as I'm not close with her and it is a bit of a stupid thing to say grrrrrr I've really annoyed myself!
10/10/2014 at 11:52
LuLu - You've done a brave thing! Why shouldn't you speak about it! You're making people aware that sometime it's just not as easy as having sex! There's a bit more to it than that. I'm very proud of you :) X
10/10/2014 at 12:02
Tayto - sounds like a great weekend ahead! I love wandering around Ikea, H doesn't though.
Sally - Have fun babysitting! How old is your niece? I would also do a test.
Lulu - Hope it goes well meeting your friend's baby - I'm sure it will be absolutely fine! Fingers crossed for that call!
Claire - Hope the spotting was nothing. I really want to see Gone Girl after reading the book last month - it sounds a bit gruesome in parts though from what I've read about it! More so than the book!
I've got nothing to say other than it's FRIDAY!!! My weekend will be spent lounging and hopefully creating a cosy home for our future child. I really hope it works this time. I need to distract myself now before I start over thinking it and contemplating the possibility of it not!!
10/10/2014 at 12:43
Claire - yeah, Bicester is a bit expensive so I'll probably just browse! Sorry to hear about the constipation - hopefully the pain was just that. The spotting could be the emby burrowing into the lining further so fingers crossed that's all it is x
Sally - good luck for testing in the AM! Missed the bit about babysitting - enjoy!
Lulu - I agree with Claire - very brave and you absolutely shouldn't feel bad about it. I'm very proud of you too xx
ST - Yayy to Friday! What time is your ET? Hope you have a nice relaxing weekend
10/10/2014 at 13:31
Lulu - I don't think that's stupid I think it's wonderfully brave of you - and who knows maybe it'll teach that person to not ask such a personal question in future!
ST - hope you're doing ok. My niece is 4.5 months her mum (my sister) and dad are off out for a meal. She's quite a good baby so I'm hoping she behaves!
10/10/2014 at 15:25
Lulu, I just wanted to add that I think telling someone is very brave. I've started to do the same, instead of saying "when we're ready" because we're so so so ready for it, we just haven't got the baby or pregnancy to complete the picture.
Sorry I haven't been on for a while, as I said in my other post, I've been struggling a lot recently. I think I might be being bullied at work too but I'm not sure. It's very subtle stuff, like small chips at me which don't seem like anything and easily brushed off as "me being over sensitive" but I've realised that I've started to become nervous going in and that's not good. I don't know whether it's on purpose or not but I feel like total crap. Infertility is not helping me either :-(
I don't mean to be so miserable, honest! Just finding life in general tough at the moment. Really stuck in limbo in more than one area of life.
Hope you all have good weekends xxx
10/10/2014 at 15:38
Thanks so much ladies I didn't expect you to all think I was brave, I'm glad I said it now! As usual you have all made me feel better! :-)
ST - Good luck with ET today yay!!
Enjayee - Do you have anyone at work you can speak to? Sorry to hear it's not just ttc that is hard for you at the moment, come on hear and rant away if you need to xx
Having a nightmare today, put my foot right in it with an older colleague who asked if I had a good birthday I replied yes I just feel old now which is a stupid thing to say to someone much older lol! Then forgot to do something for my boss finally got round to doing it and found out all this time I've been doing it wrong grrrrrr!
Had the call earlier, unfortunately they can't fit me this cycle now :-( the only day they could do was too close to ov and neither I or the doctor really wanted to risk doing it that close. I'm now booked in for next cycle which providng AF arrives on time will work out better, only thing is af can't be late or I'll have to change it as the appointment it's booked for cd6.
Roll on 5pm! If I don't get back on have a lovely weekend everyone x
10/10/2014 at 15:40
Oh Enjayee, you know you can come on here anytime for a chat - no pressure - sometimes just getting it down on paper/screen can do you the world of good! Re the work thing, I'd nip that in the bud early on if you can. I had a similar issue with my boss in my last job, very subtle things that could (and were in my case) brushed off until I started to dread going in to work at all which was a shame as I loved my job at the time. It only got solved when she went out on mat leave and, when she returned, there was a dept shuffle and she was moved off. Speak to your manager if you can - you can just advise them you want it noted for the record (or just an informal chat) - there's no need to go down the bullying/harassment route just yet (if that's correct). If you don't feel like you can chat to anyone about it, keep a log of what they do/say so you can refer back to it if it worsens. It may be just that they don't realise but, in my experience, if you're noticing a pattern, its not accidental! Plus it can't be easy being in another country away from friends and family so give yourself a break.
Huge huge hugs for you my lovely xxx

Cross posted with you Lulu, didn't realise it was your birthday - I'm sorry I missed it - belated birthday wishes for you! Wouldn't worry about the older colleague, I'm sure they'll know it wasn't meant with any badness! Sorry they can't fit you in this time around; I really had everything crossed that they could start the ball rolling for you. I was about to say hopefully AF will be on time but never mind that, if we're hoping for stuff, let's hope it invokes the law of sod and you won't need it at all xxx
10/10/2014 at 15:45
ha ha thanks Tayto! I would like to hope for that as well but done it too often now so will try not to think about it. My Birthday was last week when I wasn't here so don't be sorry as you wouldn't have known thanks for the wishes though :-)

Oh and for me, H has just told me that his cousin is going to come to our house on Sunday instead of Bicester village so I've got to clean & tidy it! He will help but I'd rather he did the spare room so it's ready for when my mum is over. The house is like a bomb hit it at the moment and this cousin is best buddies with his mum so I know she'll be reporting back!
It doesn't help that I have a hair appointment at home this evening, forgot to take out money for it and my kitchen table is covered in my scrapbooking gear which has to be gone before the hair lady gets here plus I have to wash my hair beforehand cos I was too late to do it this morning..... eekkkk!
