Getting Pregnant <
Trying to conceive

I hope no one minds me starting this today. I'm back on the TTC wagon much sooner than expected as H and I were originally going to wait until next September.
A little about me - I already have two children, O who will be 3 next week, and L who is 10 months. My H and I have always wanted 3 children so we've decided to start straightaway rather than wait. I'm also a part-time ICT teacher so I won't be posting as much on Wed - Fri when I'm at work.
I'm currently CD9, so will be jumping H this weekend.
I'm looking forward to getting to know you all.

Hi DS-welcome to the current ttc gang - i hope ur only here a short time!
Afm - CD31, af due tonight/tom - i can feel her coming! Nightshift this week so that will take my mind off it, off to gym just now & its freezing!
04/11/2013 at 08:51
Oh DS - how very exciting. Hope you have a fun week ;) were you back on any contraception after lo2?
Cooper - sorry to hear you can feel her coming. well done you for getting to the gym on this horrible morning.
AFM - cd14 and confused by temping. Either I ov'd cd9 and moving house + broken (need to be bleed) radiators in new house are messing with temperatures or I had an attempt at ov'ing then but haven't actually yet. Having period like cramps last night/this morning which presumably would be too soon for implantation even if I did ovulate cd9 so maybe is a fresh attempt at ovulation. Time will tell I guess!
Hi to all that follow.

DS - your here! :-)
Cooper - hope you are wrong about AF.
Veecee - i think you can gear up and then the egg not get released, but not sure how that works in relation to cycle etc.
AFM - im hungover, fogot to take my temp this morning (CD12) and donor didnt come round last night for AI. All in all a bit pants, but hey i POAS this morning and im still at flashy smiley level so im hoping its still good for this month.

Hi DS nice to see you here - hope it all goes smoothly and you're not here too long! Have fun jumping H!
Cooper - have fun at the gym, hope youre wrong about AF! If not, hope she buggers off soonish.
Veecee - Our bodies are so confusing at times, no advice on temping I dont do it and cant really get my head round it!
Vikster - frustrating but you are still in with a shot! Good luck!
AFM - 4dpo. Not much to report! x

Good Morning, hope you all had lovely weekends!
DS - Hi, number 3 how exciting good luck!
Cooper - I hope it isn't AF!
Veecee - Sounds confusing, hope the move went well.
Vikster - Sounds like you are still in with a good chance!
Rod - Hope the 2ww goes quickly for you, fingers crossed!
AFM - CD6 think I will ov at the weekend, roll on Friday!
04/11/2013 at 10:20
Cooper - Fingers crossed AF stays away x
VC - That's a confusing cycle , I hope it becomes clearer as time goes on. I wasn't on any contraception after either of the kids, we just used condoms. After this one, H will take one for the team and have the snip!
V79 - That's annoying about the donor, will he be round tonight?
Rod - I hate the 2ww stage, I hope you're otherwise well.
Thanks for the welcome, I hope that I'm not here too long either but from past experience, I have to be patient x

I'm feeling very down today. Went to my nieces' christening yesterday and seemed to be surrounded by babies, young children, and pregnant women. Not fun. I did consider not going but it's not the twins' fault, and I wanted to be there to support them. We left early when it all got a bit much, and whereas I was OK last night, I feel very upset today. Not helped by dreams of someone telling I was never going to carry a baby to term, and then getting laughed out of an adoption office.
On a vaguely more practical note, I am still desperate for my body to give some indication of being back in any sort of cycle. I had ewcm a week and a half ago, and although I forgot to do an OPK, I did one a couple of days later and it was a line, just slightly lighter than the control but almost the same shade. I wonder if it was fading after having indicated ovulation? A couple of days after that, it was back to no line. Now, FF says re charting after a m/c, to take the day of the m/c as CD1. If that's correct, then the ov symptoms (line on opk and ewcm) were about CD12-14 which would put me in line with my normal cycle, and AF due on Saturday. Does that sound about right? We were dtd like bunnies around ov time, so you never know.
Oh, and re the surgery I have been offered, I will probably go ahead, but probably not this month. I want to be sure of cycles, and know where I am when I agree to have it first. If we hadn't started trying again immediately after the m/c I'd have it now, but we had. Of course if AF arrives on schedule next weekend, I can go ahead anyway without worrying about a possible pregnancy.
OK, sorry for all that...
DS, nice to see you here, in a good way!
Vkster, that's really frustrating. Is your donor a friend? Seems he needs a kick up the backside!
Cooper, I also hope you're wrong x
Lulu, fun weekend coming up ;-)
Veecee, that's all rather confusing and frustrating, but you never know...
Rod, hope you're surviving the 2ww OK x

Barefoot - I do understand about being surrounded by babies after a loss, you go into self-preservation mode (leaving events early, hiding people on FB, etc) coupled with awful dreams, it's perfectly normal being like this. As for cycles, mine fell back normal almost straightaway as mine were very early on. CD1 would be the first day you started bleeding with a mc, so what you've written sounds normal to me. Big hugs as it's such a shitty time post-mc xx

Barefoot I missed my neice's first birthday party because it was 3 days after i found out I'd miscarried - everyone knew what had happened so I dont think anyone was too upset and if they were, well, frankly I dont care! I hope you start feeling better soon.
04/11/2013 at 15:25
Vikster - how frustrating that must be. can you get it rearranged soon?
Rod hope the 2ww flies by
lulu - fun weekend times :) are you using opks?
barefoot - sorry you are going through this and i hope your body falls into it's cycle quickly (if it hasn't already)
04/11/2013 at 15:29
Barefoot - so sorry you are going through this xx
veecee - no just going by ewcm, if we are not lucky in the next 2 cycles (by the end of the year) I might try them but I'm worried about them stressing me out ha ha!

Thanks all. That's actually encouraging that I can count the m/c as CD1, since at least I have a reference point. Therefore I'm CD23 and 9dpo :-). AF due Sat/Sun.
