Morning ladies - happy hump day! How are we all?
AFM - H has man flu so isn't in the best of form plus we didn't get to go to the Abingdon fair yesterday - he rarely gets sick but when he does.... well, the whole world suffers! Ha . TTC wise, no AF yet, wish she'd hurry up so we can get a move on to cycle 7 and hopefully make better efforts than last cycle! Loving the new changes to the FF app!
Hello to all who follow x

Sorry your H is sick! How're your cramps today?
AFM: Meeting as predicted was boring and pointless yesterday - had a bit of a whinge to my manager about it afterwards as my little team always seems to be forgotten despite bringing in a huge chunk of revenue. Ah well. They did manage to get my a nice gluten free lunch though (again after I complained) so the brownie kept me happy.
TTC wise - had some spotting this morning so looks like I'm out, just waiting for AF to show up now. A bit gutted but hey ho - on to cycle 3. :-)
Hi to everyone else. Hope you're all ok. x

Morning Sally - so the way to your heart is through a brownie then?! hehe! Sorry to hear the witch is on her way & well done for the PMA, it's not easy xx

Tayto - Have you tested?! Fingers crossed for you! I hope your H feels better soon.
Sallylou - Sorry af is on the way x
AFM - Still just hoping my appointment for next week goes ahead got some questions on the HyCoSy so will start another thread for that. Was chatting to a friend yesterday who had trouble ttc as well, it was so nice for someone I know to understand how this all feels, she is having IVF for her second child soon so I really hope it works for her.

Morning Lulu! I tested yesterday and BFN which I'm not surprised with, ovulation was early this cycle and I missed the first peak on my CB digi opks so we only did it once in the fertile window so I'm not expecting anything. I'm getting all the AF symptoms but she's just taking her time!
Saw your other thread on the HyCoSy - I'm of no use to you but I'm sure some other MD'ers will be along shortly to help. I have my fingers tightly crossed for you x

Sorry for not getting on so far this week.
Tayto - hope your h is feeling better soon
Sally - brownie sounds good! Glad your meeting went well too.
I've started a separate thread about some confusing first response tests.
I think af will be due around saturday then we'll be onto cycle 5. Decided to try the clearblue opks next month too so fingers crossed they help
08/10/2014 at 09:56
Hi Holey! I'm using the CB opks and I love them. I did the CB trial so I've loads left over if you wanted me to send on some to try out first? I found them so much better than the IC's - no guesswork! Plus I temp as well so have been able to confirm ovulation to coincide with them.
08/10/2014 at 10:07
Tayto that would be great if you don't mind!
I just found the ic ones too open to interpretation!
My email address is ...if you wanted to send me an email so I can give you my address.

Tayto - Men are the WORST when they're ill! What are the changes to FF you speak of? I haven't noticed anything different!
SallyLou - Sorry your day was so boring yesterday, but yay for the brownie! That's got to make it almost worth it, right? ;)
Lulu - Fingers crossed your appointment is OK. It is such a relief to be able to talk to someone who understands isn't it?
Holey - Hope the clearblue OPKs work some magic for you
AFM I was convinced today was Thursday so it's disappointing that I still have another early morning alarm to go this week! I'm so ready for Friday, just for the fact that I will not have to wake up in the hour of 5. I'm feeling really tired and headachy, not sure if it's the hormones causing it or just one of those things but I'm ready for it to stop!
08/10/2014 at 10:34
Holey - email sent :-)
ST - My FF on my Android was coming up telling me to update it which I did and it now has a ticker along the top (which can be turned off if preferred) but it shows the CD and DPO days (same as the tickers you could use for TTC on forums. There is a homepage thingy now as well when I use the web based site.
Sorry that time is passing so slowly for you. I saw your post on the HyCoSy thread, do you mind me asking what was the result of your fertility tests - did they find anything 'wrong'? Or are you in the unexplained category?
08/10/2014 at 10:40
Hello lovelies - Well not sure where I really fit in now, dipped my head into first tri yesterday just said hi but I don't feel ready to start posting, and I don't want to bang on about all things pregnancy related here. I think for now I'll just hang around in the background and keep up with you all, and post to support instead of posting daily. I really wish every single one of you the very best of luck and hope you get your BFP's soon, thank you so much for being there for me you've been a huge support to me and I am very grateful.
I'm not out of the woods by a long shot, still got a mountain to climb, scan is 2 weeks Friday and I'll let you know how I get on.
In other news GBBO final tonight whooooop!!!!!!!!!!!! xxx

Mine auto updates Tatyo, so it either hasn't done it yet or I just haven't paid attention when I've opened it! We fell into the unexplained camp, which is how it took us so long to get the treatment stage. We had our tests around the same time as other MDers such as Lamby and Smarties, and because they had problems found they were referred straight away but we were sent packing until we'd reached 3 years of TTC - so we had to wait for over a year after completing all the tests.
08/10/2014 at 10:51
Cross posted Claire - LOVING your ticker! Sending you a ton of vibes for your scan, I really hope you have a thoroughly smooth 8ish months ahead of you xx
08/10/2014 at 10:57
Tayto - Sorry it was a bfn.
Holey - I hope you find out what is going on soon, hopefully you won't need to cb opks!
ST - Roll on Friday for you eeek! That is so rubbish you had to ttc for 3 years as you were unexplained, how have you coped all this time? I Really hope you get your bfp this cycle x
Claire - Stay as long as you want lol :-) love your ticker yay! x

Lulu - our coping strategy has basically been planning and going on holidays! We've had quite a few "this might hopefully be our last chance so eff it" holidays - New York, Orlando, Paris twice, and soon Vegas and NYC again. I hate the thought of wasting our lives away and not seeing and doing things because of TTC. For a long time I was scared to plan things more than 3-4 months out "just in case" but obviously that proved to be pointless so earlier this summer I made our Christmas/New Year plans... If this cycle works I'll be approx 13 weeks but if it doesn't then we'll have a flippin' awesome fortnight away! Win-win!
08/10/2014 at 11:09
Awwww thanks guys :) Well figured I'd get what I can out of this early pregnancy, hence the ticker I don't know how long it will last, hopefully the duration but you just never know.
Wow ST that's some impressive list! I'm so happy you are not letting this journey define you now and you will have a super time over Christmas and New Year!
08/10/2014 at 11:12
Those holidays sound great ST, you have a great outlook on it all. Tell us all about your Xmas and NY plans as it sounds amazing :-)
08/10/2014 at 11:24
Claire - What a lovely post! Love the ticker too! x
ST - That's crap you had to wait so long; great coping strategy though! Where are you off to for Xmas and NY?
08/10/2014 at 11:38
Well, if you insist ;) There's a huge backstory as to how it came about, which involves last year's catastrophic Christmas due to insensitive comments, H's family being... well, nuts, and the fact that if our first IVF had worked I would have been 38 weeks and I just couldn't face being at home or anything resembling reality. We want a Christmas where it's just the two of us, and the only way we can guarantee that is to be a long, long way away - like I said, H's family are nuts and if we stayed at home they'd find some way to ruin our day.
So, we're flying out to Vegas on 22nd Dec and staying there for a week, then flying across the NYC for new year and H's birthday, which is 2nd Jan. We fly home overnight on the 3rd. So far we don't have much planned for while we're there, but I have booked Statue of Liberty tickets for H's birthday - last time we went it was closed for refurbishment so that was top of the list this time around! There are honestly no words to describe how excited I am - only 10 weeks and 5 days to go! My work colleagues love my daily updates on the countdown haha

I hope you are all well. I've been working away this week, I'm going home tonight and can't wait. I've had an absolutely stinking cold which whilst trying to present to customers has been unpleasant!
Tayto - Sorry your H is unwell if he feels like I do he has my sympathy! I hope AF doesn't show!
SallyLou - Sorry AF is on her way
Lulu - It's nice to be able to talk to someone in real life about it all isn't it. My best friend had IVF so is a great support.
Holey - Sorry you've had the confusion with the FR test, I know what you mean about the IC opks they are a bit vague!
Sparkly - So annoying waking up on the wrong day, lets hope today flies by! Sounds like you have an amazing Christmas and NYE planned, thats quite a list of holidays you've had!
Claire - Don't leave us yet, we'll miss you, but I am over the moon for you xx
I'm so annoyed I'm going to miss the bake-off tonight as I won't get home until gone 9pm. TTC wise I've no news, just waiting to get back to the consultant next month.I've not even bothered phoning to find out the results of H's latest semen analysis, I feel a bit like I am so over TTC this month!
