Happy hump day everyone - how're we doing?
Hopeful - I saw your comment on yesterday's thread - did you have to get a letter from your Doc to go to the private clinic? Reason I ask is I've been looking at going to the one near us and it says you can self refer which is the option we'll take once we know about my referral and H's testosterone results.
AFM - Nothing much from me really - Hoping to finish work early today so I can get home and do some scrapbooking!
Hello to all who follow x

Hopeful - hope your letter is ready on time! Good idea on you taking control there.
Tayto - hope you're doing ok, what sort of scrapbooks do you do?
AFM - AF has disappeared now. Upping the meds hasn't had any noticeable effect on me but I guess we'll see on Monday when I get scanned! We're leaving for the UK on CD13 which is two days before the egg is usually big enough so I don't think we'll be inseminated this round unfortunately. But at least we'll be able to try naturally. Trying not to feel sad about it as now that H's count is on the up there should be an ok chance of us catching naturally!

I can only self refer Tayto, if I have already been seen by one of the consultants previously. As I havent i need to have a GP referral.
I have already told the clinic that a letter will be on the way shortly so hopefully will get initial consultation soon. Then all depends on NHS. If a waiting list or they won't find I will move straight to private treatment.

Hopeful - I'm surprised with that cos our place allows you to come directly - www.oxfordfertilityunit.com/.../one-stop-fertility-assessment. In our case we already have all the initial tests so at least we can go straight for assistance with H's SA - assuming we go down this route - we've made no definite plans yet!
Enjayee - Glad AF has gone; it's a shame that you might miss insemination though. Fingers crossed that your H's guys can do it on their own this time! Are you excited about coming to the UK? How long are you staying for? Have you loads of visits planned? I find that when I go back home, I'm running around trying to meet everyone like a headless chicken and, no matter how hard I try, I'm always running late or I miss out on meeting someone!

yeah I'm excited in that I get to be somewhere where I don't have to get stressed about the language barrier and I'm excited to see some friends who I haven't seen for ages! I don't tell many people that I'm coming back home now as everyone wants to meet. It's a compliment because people want to see me but it ends up stressing me out too much and not being a relaxing break, haha.

Ahh yes, I know exactly what you mean Enjayee!

Brief one again from me - I miss you girls, how dare work keep me from you!
Enjayee - hopefull with H's epic sperm count you'll have just as good a chance naturally!
Tayto - how's the scrapbooking going? Hope you're enjoying all your new goodies!
Hopeful - hope you get your consultation soon.
AFM - CD12. No highs on OPK went straight from low to peak - which I got today.
Hope you are all ok. xx
