Not sure who is still about as RKB has now graduated to 1st tri and Tayto and Claire are sunning themselves!
Hi to Mooshy, saw your post from last week this morning. Sorry you're having a stressful time at the moment. Hope you have a lovely holiday, where are you off to?
So sad to read PC's news on BT sending lots of love to her. xxxxx
Hi to all who follow.

I'm back from a wonderful wedding and honeymoon - I hope you are all ok. I have a sneak peek pic if anyone is interested.
So sad to see PC's news, I don't know her but much love to her.
Congratulations RKB on graduating - did I miss anyone else?

Congratulations Sallylou!! Yes please share a pic :-) remind me where did you go on Honeymoon?

Hi all! Sorry I've not been around. Been having quite a stressful time with the house and TTC. We have a viewing tonight and are waiting to hear back from our financial advisor. So hoping that things are taking a turn for the better. I won't bore you with all the details. Hi Lulu. Hope you are okay. Hi Sally, congrats on your wedding. I want to see a flash!
01/09/2014 at 12:55
I've been lurking occasionally but have found I needed to step away as ttc has all got a bit stressful. Popped on today and saw PC's news - just devastating, life really isn't fair is it?
Lulu - Hi! Are you in the 2ww? Hope it goes fast for you.
Sally-Lou - congrats on the wedding. I agree we need flashes!
MummyS - Sorry to hear things are stressful.
Afm, well, as I said, ttc has been a bit stressful. We finally had our first referral appointment with a consultant last week, he went through both my blood tests and OH's SA and booked the next steps. I have a scan this Friday to check ovaries/uterus/cervix and he'll decide then how best to check tubes. Also had further blood tests last week to check my ovarian reserve as I am now official in the 'older' bracket for ttc (turned 35 a week ago :-( ). So not where I thought we'd be at this point. Still, at least something is happening.
In other things, on the countdown to holiday - 19 sleeps to go!

Mummysimpson - Hope the viewing goes well and it all becomes less stessful!
LolaB - Sorry it's been stressful for you too, were your results ok? Where are you off to on holiday?! I've just had a quick count and it's about 19 sleeps for me too lol! We are going to Dubai :-) Yes I'm currently in the 2ww 5dpo so the stressful bit coming up hate this part of the cycle!
01/09/2014 at 15:28
Hi Lulu -
Well, we thought my initial tests were ok (according to GP) but consultant now thinks they may not show ovulation after all (though I have a cbfm that says I do). Same for OH's SA - GP said it was fine, consultant was hedging his bets a bit! I suppose as it's the first appointment the consultant just has to go through all the possibilities and start from the beginning. Just gutted to be here, although I know we're lucky to be being seen after 14 months rather than 2 years in some counties.
We're only off to Majorca, was a last minute decision as we decided we just needed a break, with ttc and having had loads done to the house we are both stressed but all the money has gone on the house!. Nothing glamorous like Dubai!

Good morning ladies, I hope you are all well.
I was very sad to see PC's news over the weekend, so completely devastating for them. I've been thinking of them lots.
Good news on RKB graduating though, congrats to her.
Lulu - I hope all is well with you
Sallylou - I hope you had an amazing honeymoon, we'd love to see a pic!
Mummysimpson - Sorry you are having a stressful time with the house, but I hope the viewing went well
LolaB - I'm sorry to hear your test results haven't been conclusive yet, it's good you are in the system now though and making some progress. I hope things move forward for you now, it is gutting to find yourself in this situation I think the holiday is probably just what you need.
AFM - Nothing to report TTC wise, I think it's CD6 but I can't be bothered to check! Our first consultants appointment is 3 weeks today and I am already quite nervous about it. we've just booked a long weekend in Spain in October for my Mum's 60th which will be lovely.
02/09/2014 at 10:31
Lola - Sorry your results are a bit confusing I hope you get some answers soon or even better don't need them. I know what you mean it is gutting when you think about where you are I feel like that alot. Majorca will be lovely, I haven't been since I was tiny but it is meant to have some beautiful parts. Shall we go on holiday count down together lol?!
Dolly P - Do you know what will happen at your appointment? Where in Spain are you going? Sounds like it will be a lovely weekend.
Not much to report from me, looking forward to going for dinner with H tomorrow for our anniversary :-)
02/09/2014 at 12:56
Thanks all - little flash below! We had torrential rain all afternoon so I'm a bit bedraggled by this point, once I get the files I'll show you a flash of my faves, veecee I'm sure will approve.
Lulu - We went to Bali on honeymoon, it was so amazing, beautiful place and people. I'd go again in a flash. I'm jealous of yours and Lola's upcoming holidays, I am not enjoying being back at work.
MummyS - how did your viewing go?
LolaB - good luck for Friday, like you say at least you have something happening now, hoping the laws of sod invoke themselves and you get your BFP.
DollyP - hope you are ok, I'm not surprised you are nervous. Spain sounds wonderful.
AFM - with the wedding and honeymoon etc I haven't a clue how many DPO I am but I am in the dreaded 2WW. Gosh it's crazy isn't it? My cycles are normally 22 days but occasionally swaps to 28. If I go on a 22 day cycle I'm due this Friday. I'm attempting to just ignore things and wait for AF but it's very hard, my mind is in overdrive.
02/09/2014 at 14:23
awwwww beautiful Sally! Bali sounds amazing as well, I can imagine this week is very hard for you! Hope you don't go too mad in the last bit the 2ww, this part is always the worst!
04/09/2014 at 08:33
Thanks Lulu! It's been pretty tough going, it's only Thursday too! Booo. Power through, it was always going to be a toughie.
How was your anniversary dinner?
04/09/2014 at 08:57
Morning to anyone who is around!
Sallylou - Yes the first week is always the worst nearly there now! Dinner was lovely thank you, have a bit of a fuzzy head this morning but need to get better as I've got work drinks tonight, going to be so tired tomorrow!
04/09/2014 at 10:12
Sally-lou - that's a lovely photo. Hope AF stays away for you today!
Lulu - Happy anniversary. Lots of carbs and tea to cure the fuzzy head!
Afm, had my friend staying this week, so have been staying up too late everynight chatting and drinking wine. Paying for it now as very tired! Out tonight with a big group for a curry (sod the diet!) and then it's Friday tomorrow - yay!
05/09/2014 at 10:06
Sallylou - Any sign of af?!
Lola - Sounds like you've had a good week, how was your curry?
AFM, not feeling quite as fuzzy as yesterday but still very tired as I had a work do last night, it was really nice but can't wait to sleep in tomorrow! What are everyones plans for the weekend? We are going to meet a friend's new baby tomorrow, slightly worried about feeling sad when holding the baby but hopefully I'll be able to man up lol! Off out for dinner tomorrow night as well, it's been a busy week!
05/09/2014 at 10:33
Happy friday everyone! Thank goodness it's finally here - it's been a long week!
Glad you had a lovely anniversary Lulu, hope you enjoy the baby cuddles tomorrow.
How was your curry Lola? I love a good curry.
AFM - no AF as yet. I'm oddly nervous, I haven't had any of the usual signs, but maybe she's decided to have a longer cycle and she'll appear next week? I will see if anything happens today and then test tomorrow I guess?!
05/09/2014 at 10:35
Happy Friday to you too Lulu!
Curry was great thanks. Definitely worth falling off the wagon for! Hope meeting the new baby is ok.
I've got my scan this afternoon, which I am a bit nervous about to be honest. I don't know if he'll tell me there and then what he finds or if I will have to wait for a letter. I keep telling myself that it's no big deal, but I almost want him to find something fixable - then we'll know why the bfp hasn't happened yet, can try to fix the problem and can move on - is that weird?
05/09/2014 at 10:45
Happy Fri everyone!!
Lulu - Apparently it's good for us to hold babies, my acupuncturist said to hold as many as possible and when you hold them try and visualise how this will be you and your baby one day. It creates positive energy! I hope you don't feel sad x
SallyLou - Good luck for testing tomorrow
LolaB - Good luck at the scan later, let us know how it goes I hope you get some results there and then and don't have to wait. TTC is all about waiting isn't it!!
AFM - This week has gone quite quickly, I'm off to meet up with some girlfriends tomorrow. They are 3 of my closest friends but they all have 2 kids each so conversation inevitably turns to things child related so I sometimes feel a bit out of it. I'm starting to feel quite anxious about my consultants appointment even though it is still 18 days away.
05/09/2014 at 14:38
Sallylou - Are you normally quite regular? Do you know when you ov'd? I would be testing lol!
Lola - I hope your scan goes ok and you get your results today.
DollyP - That is great advice thank you for sharing, really looking forward to cuddles now! Have fun with your freinds tomorrow, do they know you are trying? I hope the talk isn't all child related.
05/09/2014 at 15:26
I'm glad that helped Lulu, it always makes me feel better to remind myself of that piece of advice.
They all know we're trying and where we're at currently so they will ask, but I'm sure we'll have back to school, starting school, and various other child related discussion. It's stuff that's important to them so I don't want to begrudge them chatting about it, but at the same time I have nothing to say about it really!
