My friend was on the depo and it took her about over a year to get pregnant. If you just got off the depo its probably gonna take longer than seven months to get pregnant. I also was on the depo it really did suck! And i only got one shot and i never got another one. If you want to have a baby in another year or so, depo it not the right birth control to be on. These hormones can stay in your body for up to a year.

Hi mummyc2sky, I've got the same problem at the moment other than I was on the pill before rather than the shot. my first full cycle off the pill was 36 days and I'm now on day 45 and still no period. Bfn tests and the only thing I can think of is the pill is still messing with my body. So frustrating the docs don't warn you of this when they give you contraception! I was always under the impression once you stop taking it its out of your body in a short period but I don't seem to be the only one that's struggled since coming off.
Fingers crossed for you and hopefully the docs will be able to help you. Let me know how you get on. I don't think they will help me yet as I've only been off the pill 4 months.
