Can anyone please tell me what does 25.5 means in blood results

It's what's called your blood count. They measure the number of red cells compared with white cells in your bloodstream, red cells are important for delivering oxygen to your body whilst your white cells are the ones producing anti-bodies to fight infection. They will check your blood count at regular intervals throughout pregnancy to monitor that you're getting enough oxygen & that you're not building excess anti-bodies (more so if rhesus neg). They will normally call you soon after your blood test (within 48hrs) if your count is cause for concern (they may place you on iron supplements to help correct it).

Is it hcg levels hunni? I know your hb (haemoglobin levels or iron) should be around 13.5, it can be slightly higher or lower and still be within a safe range but 25.5 would be ridiculously high for that. So I assume it is hcg levels? How many weeks are you hun? I had very low hcg levels in my last pregnancy early on they climbed quite slowly and my daughter is one in four weeks time. Xxx
