I've been on pill (various) for 10 years. Started because of serious period pain etc. Decided that we were ready for a baby back in May 2013 but decided to wait until September before stopping pill. For last 18 months I'd been bleeding in between periods but just thought pill problem. So since September I've been monitoring dates etc but I'm getting really down. I'm managing about 18 days between periods BUT I'm bleeding on odd days throughout this time. Sometimes spotting, sometimes for couple days. Also bleeding after sex (regardless of how soon after period). Saw doctor and he said cervix ok etc and to wait until 6 months before investigating further. How can you happily TTC when you're worried what you'll find after?! As others, friends either got pregnant by accident or after 3 months. No one to talk to about it xo

Hi JP2, I don't have any advice but didn't want to read and run.  I know it can take a while for our bodies to return to normal after coming off the pill, really hope things settle down soon for you xx

It could be just your body is taking time to adjust after coming off the pill... Frustrating but this can take a while. If you want to try & help the process I would recommend taking Maca powder... Its a natural product (ground root) which helps to regulate hormone levels. it may be total foincidence but I know of 3 people who took this, all got pregnant quickly. In any case... It cant hurt

I know how you feel I was on the drop but only for 6 months after took nearly a year to get my periods back when I finally did mine have been really arratic and was getting terrible pain until I was admitted to hospital finally to be diagnosed with pcos. But I know what you mean everyone around you seems to be getting pregnant and you just feel like how can they gt pregnant so quickly an I can't it's not fair what's wrong with me why can't i !!!!!
I've only just started to get my body back to normal after the depo nearly over 18 months after coming off it thanks to herbal medicine which I know isn't for everyone but is working for me as my cyst have shrunk. All I would say to you is keep at it it will happen everything happens for a reason and I strongly believe that it will happen when the time is right xxxx
