Trying to conceive

hi I'm not sure how to ask this. So here it goes.... I took a home pregnancy test and it was a faint positive the following day I start spitting and bleeding really lightly. Not like my normal period. Also the day I took my first test I was 4 days late for my period. I just took another test today still bleeding and again faint positive. I'm not sure if this means I'm pregnant or just something funny going on with my body. And I don't have parents of my own they both died so I can really ask them for advice. Plz help thank you

If there is a faint line then your body is detecting HCG..so i would wait a day or two and test again :)

Hey there! Normally, if you get a positive result, IT IS positive, no matter how faint the line is. However, for better accuracy, you might want to wait at least a week after your missed period to take the test (if you waited less). Best results are in the morning, when the urine is more concentrated. Also, be careful not to fill your body with too much fluid before taking the test, otherwise your urine will be diluted and the results wouldn't be conclusive. Good luck!

If you experience what you think is a light period, it might be in fact something called vaginal bleeding (or spotting), which occurs during the first 6-12 days after you conceive, due to the fertilized egg implanting itself on the wall of the uterus.
