Hey rachel... Sorry you have had to experience this loss.... & it is made even harder by having so many questions in the aftermath.
your cycle will start to return to normal once the HCG is down to zero. If the doctors are not monitoring your blood levels then keep doing pregnancy tests (the more sensitive the better so go for the early detection ones) & when that comes back negative, you can expect your cycle to restart... So if for example your cycle is usually 28 days, you are likely to get your period around 4 weeks after the pregnancy tests go negative. That is a rough estimate... Everyone is different though so some women take longer than that.
it is possible for some women to get pregnant again before their first period.... But in my case woth both my miscarriages my first cycle afterwards was annovulatory (i did not ovulate) & I have read that this can be pretty common. I started ovulating again with the next cycle. You can anticpate when you should ovulate by counting backwards 14 days from the date of your next expected period.... It will be roughly around that time (give or take a couple of days either side) so if you want to know for sure then you can use ovulation predictor tests for 4/5 days either side of this expected date.
hope this helps Rachel & if theres anything else, please do not hesitate to ask x

to Rachel, i know your eager but wait. Waiting will be the best thing you can do right now, your body just went through a horrible time. Me and my husband waited 7 months to try again, we were still crying two months after. so just wait, i was told wait until you have two complete period cycles before you try again.
hope that helps.
