Am cross posting this in Baby Talk as well so I can get loads of fab advice. I am coming to the end of my six moths off TTC after the molar pregnancy. I have been tliking preconception vitamins pretty much since the ERPC and am now on prescribed folic acid. I have been going to the gym three times a week (for mental health as well as physical)
Am going to cut out alcohol (apart from maybe a glass of red when AF shows), cut down on caffeine but is there anything else I need to eat more of or cut out? I am sure I read something about artificial sweetener (have this in tea and squash) but don't know if I imagined this?

I'm not sure GB. I'm the same with caffeine although I don't really consume a lot of that anyway. I also try to cut back on alcohol for the middle and end of my cycle although last one I drank every day lol

Ha! I'm just trying to wean myself off diet coke. I can cope with the alcohol more strangely!! I don't miss the hangovers! X

Yeah the diet coke is a toughie to quit although you can get caffeine free which helps so if you can maybe half your intake and drink caffeine free then that would be a decent start.

Not sure there's much else for you to cut down on, it sounds like you're already doing everything right! I think with sweeteners it's the aspartame that's not good for you (there's stuff on the Internet on how it's supposed to be carcinogenic!) but there's loads of conflicting advice on which foods supposedly are good and bad for fertility so it's hard to know what to do for the best. I personally think just try and be healthy when you can and everything in moderation.x

Thanks CO - as long as I know I've done everything I can. H has suggested we join a wine club so I can look forward to a nice red when AF appears. I'm happy with whatever's on offer in tesco but he thinks it will bring on law of sod! Am on day one of cutting out caffeine. Only one cup of tea so far..
CA - no diet coke so far. Day one so lets not get overly confident lol!
