Getting Pregnant <
Trying to conceive

Hi there,Me and my husband are trying to get pregnant. I took an early pregnancy test and it had 2 pink lines BUT the other line (the actual 'yes you are pregnant' line) appeared not where it should but a bit before the white bit. I noticed it and had to take the dipping bit off (the control paper? i really don't know what it is called!!!) It was about 2 mm before it should usually appear, it is pink though and it is staying brave. We tried dipping one in the water to see if it would leave a pink mark in the same place and it did not. I also have some of the other symptoms, like frequent toilet visits, yesterday I felt sick, I feel faint and have crazy mood swings and food cravings (I'm a vegetarian but been craving a fat old chicken and a juicy cheeseburger, haha). I blamed it all on the stress of trying to conceive but I am not sure what to think now. It is really early to tell yet, but I we did do all the counting days, ovulation tests, vitamins, no coffee and alcohol etc..Please answer if you know what you're on about, because I'm in my husbands words 'a fragile, unreasonable little woman with a maternity craze'. Thank you.

Oh, haha, with that I meant that some people can be dead mean in a situation like this and I just wanted someone mature, with an actual advice.
I did use the cheap ones (I have like a pack of 100 ), the ones that are 10ml and this is the first baby we are trying for so I am just seeking for advice of if it would be possible to have a slight change in the position of the line.
I am going to take another test in a few days (my period is due in 5 days).
Regarding the symptoms, like I said, it might be just me being very stressed about it and see signs where they aren't.
Thank you for your advice, I will try another test. x

Ah I don't have it anymore, my husband threw it out because all I was doing was looking at it and comparing to other pictures on google. I guess all I can do is take another one tomorrow (and the day after and the day after ). It's just the wait that is killing me, since women in my family have difficulties conceiving, yet men in my husbands family have extremely strong swimmers. Ah... Fingers crossed!
Thanks all of you for being so nice x

Oh I have been having the worst time! I should actually have any results in about 3 days time, we'll see how it goes, but so far bad news only. Last night I felt really bad, shaky and was throwing up so my husband called 111 and they told me to go to A&E as soon as possible, because they thought I'm having ectopic pregnancy, after 3 hour queue and stressing and crying, I finally got in and I was told that I don't have it. But they also took a pregnancy test (not blood though) and said there are no signs I'm pregnant yet, but I still might get a positive test. So I am waiting now and I'll see if it turns out to be positive in a few days. I had miscalculated the period and all and so I made a big mess there.
Anyway, after last night I realized that not being pregnant this month would not be the worse thing that could happen, considering how much worse it could have ended. I will just try next month and so on, if it is not positive. At least I can and won't have to wait for 3 months, and more importantly - at least nothing bad happened to the possible baby.
Thank you for all the advice! x

Hi there ladies!
Today is the 3rd day of my missed period, which is odd, because mine are like clockwork. Still no positive tests though (apart from that one odd one) which is really freaking me out. Could I be taking them wrong maybe? I mean how difficult could it be to wee on a stick?
Anyway, I am just taking this chance here to wish you all a very happy international women's day And baby dust to everyone! xx

Well the picture is in an awful quality but I could try, however since I had the bleeding right after a stomach trauma (what a horrible timing isn't it?) I went to A&E and got tested negative (she said I should still try in a weeks time because it is still possible). Well basically the picture works with a right head angle, room lighting, computer screen and power of thought At least that's what DH described it as.
Another thing she said was that implantation bleed happens in like 6 weeks of pregnancy. DH did a research and said it's usually 9 days after ovulation so I don't know what to think now. Is the doctor wrong or the nhs homepage?
Also she said it's just a late AF (I took the missing days in February in to account, I should have had it a few days ago and it's just like spotting not real bleeding).
And as regards to the testing itself - I don't really have a designated dipping tray and with two cats, no tray can be kept outside anyway because it will end up in their litter box
Anyway, thank you all SO much! It is my first time trying and me and DH are quite young and so we are extremely uneducated in this field, besides non of our friends have even serious relationships, let alone children, so I have no one to ask these things to and honestly - you ladies are all I have so I am extremely thankful for all the advice and support.
Sending love and baby dust to all of you x
