Trying to conceive

Please could someone advise, or just talk with me on this whole subject cause I'm feeling very down about it at the moment and am feeling at a loss.
Me and my partner have been trying for a baby for a while now but even since stopping the contraceptive pill my periods haven't returned and I haven't been ovulating, which is quite an essential part of getting pregnant!
I've been through all sorts of tests with the doctor everything was fine so he refered me. It turns out though that my partner also has to be refered by his doctor, who won't cause his bmi is to high. So even though we know the issue is me we can no longer go any further. The amount they want Him to loose is impossible they want him to get down to 11 stone and for the muscle and build that he is it just isn't realistic. Private treatment will cost to much so now I don't know what to do.
I've booked another doctors appointment today not to sure what I'm even going to ask them now so could be a waste of time.
Anyone been in this situation what did you do. Should I ask for provera to bring on a bleed?

Hi crescent, did want to read and run. Sorry you're having a hard time at the moment. How long have you been off the pill for?
that seems quite a harsh target for your partner to hit especially when you want to get the ball rolling right away. My husband is 11 stone and he's super slim So it seems a big ask for weight guidance. like you say men's muscle and body tone is different to us ladies so a weight like 11 stone is so different for them.
im sorry IMy can't offer any advice but I hope you get what you need from doctors in term of the right advice soon x
