Trying to conceive

I wondered if anyone could offer any advice.
I have been having irregular periods since the removal of my implant in October 2013! I sometimes bleed for weeks (6 weeks on a couple of occasions) and then I could go a month without a period. I went to the gp who prescribed Norethisterone and gave me instructions on how to take it. I was to take it for 3 months and then go back to her. I think the aim of this was to try and regulate my periods. I decided I wasn't going to take it as I'm not keen on putting anymore synthetic hormones into my body!
We decided to start ttc in January so im still very early in my ttc journey. I had my period for 2 weeks from the end of last month and so I decided I would just take the Norethisterone until the bleeding stopped to allow me to BD! when the bleeding stopped I also used an ovulation test and I had 2 positive results on the 13th and 14th this month. We managed to BD last night but now that I've stopped the Norethisterone, I've started bleeding again today. I am just so frustrated I don't know what is best.
should I keep taking the Norethisterone for 3 months as advised and put ttc on hold? Or keep taking it and BD'ng when im not bleeding?
Thanks for reading! X
