After a year of trying my hubby and I conceived on a weekend break away. Sadly it didn't work out as I had a MMc but would def recommend a break away from home and usual pressures. Planning and booking our trip prob took my mind off things for a while, looking at places to stay, go and things to do etc. Hope this helps. Any other ideas would be appreciated as am really TTC again and finding it difficult to relax after MC.

    Thanks, Em x

Im not pg but planning a short break in mrach hoping it will happen then (if not before). I think a good idea would be to limit computer use. The tiniest thing and im googling it so im gonna try and not do that!

    Hi
I had a stress relief massage today at the beauty place, it was wonderful.
I'll let you know at the end of the mth if its worked
I'v also stopped taking my temp, using OV sticks & checking what CD I'm on.
Just trying to not think about it too much.
    Good Luck

    Hi Filo
I live in Cumbria, the beauty place I go to is called Solo beauty.
I'd deffinately recommend having a massage, I'd love to go every week if I could afford it. :\)

I used to be on Baby-Gaga.com in the ttc forum, I became completely obsessed with symptom spotting, taking temps etc etc. I began to think that maybe the stress of the forum was stopping us concieving so I left and a month and a half later we got our bfp, so maybe taking a break from the forum might help

Relaxing is so difficult when ttc I wish you all the best and lots of baby dust xx

hi i am actually gatecrashing as i am 20 weeks preg, but me and oh decided that we were gonna try for a little one but NOT TRY to the extent that sex just became about making a baby. we had sex just as much as normal, and just enjoyed not having to use condoms (i couldnt take the pill) and i got preg first month!!we had only been married a month (together 2 years) so sex life was (and still is ) pretty frequent..we were conscious that doing it too often (like every day) could hinder things as we had read that its best to do it evry 2-3 days to let sperm get to best quality (cant remember actual term for it). and we knew that doing it every second day or so meant it would def be at the right time for conception to happen. this is my second baby and first one happened first time too, but she was a surprise (after one night of unprotected sex), so maybe its just me. it is really hard to not be constantly thinking "this could be the time we conceive our baby" but just relax and enjoy the process! x
