    Hi Ladies

Im a newbie to this website but used to go on Y & Y W

Ive got Endo and have had it for 14years.
We've been trying to conceive for 13 months now and my Consultant has just prescribed Clomid 50Mg
I have to start taking the tablets on CD2 which i think is around the 12th of Feb for five days.
Anyone know anyone else who has tried it?

    Hi Clarins,

I don't know anyone personally who has but if you go on to the ttc forum on baby-gaga.com the majority of the women in there are on Clomid I used to chat in there before work blocked it off my pc lol so then I moved in here (yup I know that sounds obsessive) Look for a girl called 2Happy she is taking or has taken Clomid and had been ttc since dec06 after she misscarried. She is so sweet and I can guarentee she will answer all of your questions. All I really know about Clomid is it encourages ovulation and cell division therefore making it easier to get pregnant and it being more likely that you will have multiples.

    Hope this helps hun.

    Hi Clarins,

I am on Clomid now and also used it to concieve my baby last year. I had it prescribed because I have PCOS

It's good stuff and although it makes me feel quite low for the days I take it, it has a good success rate.

What do you need to know?

Good luck with Clomid and I hope to see you have a BFP soon.

Hi there and welcome to the site.

I took Clomid last year, I took it for 3 months but I never got pregnant while taking it, however 2 months after stopping taking it I got pregnant and now have a little girl.

It can make you very sick and it gave me terrible headaches.

I hope it works for you.

Do you take anything painkiller wise whilst ttc.
I take Kapake co-codamol 30/500 for the endo pain and im abit concerned about taking them whilst i could potentially be pregnant.Paracetamol do bugger all.

    Thanks again ladies

My GP prescribed clomid or me the last time we were ttc because after 6 months of coming off the pill my cycles were failing to regulate & when she done blood tests it showed that I was ovulating slightly but the effects of the pill were still in my system. I fell pg the 2nd month I was taking it.

I found that I would have suffered a few headaches while taking it & really bad ovulation pains but it was worth it in the end. I'm afraid I only took paracetamol for the pain though I know what you mean about them not being much help

Good luck & hope it works for you
