What apps do people use to track their ovulation/periods etc?
09/02/2015 at 15:56
I temp so I use FF (Just using it atm to track my period. But before I started temping etc I used the free version of PinkPad which was fine for what I needed!

What does FF stand for?

Sorry! Fertility friend!

Ahh thank you! I shall take a look at that one :-)
Another FF user here too!

I think there are a few who use FF so if you have any questions ask away! :)

Thank you! I will download it tonight and let you know if i get stuck (which will probably be the likely case!)

Can you use Fertility Friend even if you don't temp?
09/02/2015 at 16:40
Yes wally, You don't have to put in temps :)
You can use it to just track your periods, it will predict your ovulation from that, and you can add in your OPK's if you do them!
You can pretty much do anything on it!

Oh wow, I did not know that, I thought you had to input temps, I'm going to download the app now! Thanks CC!

How do you take your temp? Do you just use a thermometer?
09/02/2015 at 16:50
Your welcome, Nope don't have to put temps in, You don't have to put in anything you don't want too :)
Obviously the more data you enter the more reliable the predictions etc will be :)
Good luck with it!
You use a BBT (Basal Body Temperature) thermometer and also make sure it's a thermometer that gives you reading's such as 37.54 for more accurate reading's.
You take your temp as soon as you wake up in the morning (After at least 4 hours of sleep.) Before you get out of bed etc
This is like the one I brought : http://www.amazon.co.uk/One-Step-8437774-Ovulation-Thermometer/dp/B0026RLTVY

Just to show how little detail I put in my last FF chart

Another FF user here. In the beginning, I didn't temp, just tracked AF. I love it and even convinced H we needed to buy the VIP bit of the app which I love even more. The nerd in me loves gathering all the data and comparing cycles etc...

FF here also, only just started using it though, been noting down temperatures for past 6 weeks or so and have just created a few charts. So still getting used to it.

I don't track temps, but I track AF, cm, OPKs and preg tests. I think it's really user friendly.
