Trying to conceive

Hello lovely ladies,
So my gorgeous boy is 13 and a half months and now we're in 2014 we're going to start ttc number 2.
The first time round it took 2 years, a number of lifestyle changes and some agnus castus to finally get a bfp so hoping for a much quicker result this time round.
Currently on CD44 (my PCOS has kicked back in with a vengeance) so just waiting for AF to get started - definitely not pregnant by the way tested this morning and BFN and haven't dtd since beginning of Dec.
Good luck to you all and hope none of us are here in ttc very long.

hi there im also ttc number 2.
I have a little boy ages 17 months and suffered 2 m/c last year, 1st was in june/july and my second was december.
went in for a d&c xmas eve which was a big shock to me and the other half as we had seen baby with a heart beat at 7 weeks
wishing you all the lucky for 2014 xx

Thanks for the reply. I am so sorry to hear about your losses I can't imagine how hard that must be for you and I'm not surprised that Christmas Eve was such a shock. I hope that you are doing as well as you can be. Don't give up hope though, my SIL had a healthy first baby, has since suffered 4 MC at various stages from 6 - 16 weeks but is now pregnant again and now at 14 weeks this one seems to be sticking so there is always hope.
I'm a bit sad to see how quiet the site is these days, when I was TTC the first time round this forum was always really busy and people were always commenting etc but now it just isn't the same.
Anyway, I wish you (and me )all the best for 2014 and our baby dreams. XxX

me im cd12 of my first cycle after my d&c so not too sure if its 100% right with dates just yet.
before i use to have 26 day cycles and ovulation would be around cd13-15.
i did chart and temp and use ovulation sticks but each time iv done this its ended in a m/c so im going back to how i fell first time and that was just going with the flow.
Both me and the other half have birthdays this month il be 29 and he will be hitting 30, we would love to have 2 kiddies but with my medical history we know we are lucky to have our son who is 17m.
I had an ovary and tube removed and the other side was slightly damaged, so to have my son is a mirical already xx

I've come back to the site properly after being away for four years (with a couple of wobbles!), I had my ds in Nov 09. We're in the first month of ttc our second, first time around it took us 7 months and I'd have been lost without BE! There were hundreds of ladies in here who knew everything about everything - I was completely clueless!
Lots of luck to everybody, it's weird to be back 'properly' but hopefully the petrified feeling will begin to subside! x

Wow so many replies, this is more like it.
Gosh 5 babies Wifey2479 bet they keep you busy being a mummy is wonderful though so can understand why you're trying for #6.
Mum of three sorry to hear about your losses, that's so sad, I have my fingers crossed for a sticky bean for you soon.
Karliepop sorry to hear that #2 is turning into a struggle, fingers crossed the clomid works quickly for you - we never made it to medication last time, we got ourreferral appointment and that month I fell pregnant. Hoping things might be a bit quicker this time round but I guess time will tell.
Welcome back Emily - it's so nice to have so many of us in one place, I always feel it's quite a lonely and frustrating journey unless you can discuss and vent to others who understand.
I'm now on CD48 no signs of AF ! Only dtd 1 in December so it's highly unlikely that I am pg, have no symptoms and have had 3 negative tests now (last one done on NY's day) going to leave it a week and test again - even though I know it'll more than likely be BFN - PCOS is so frustrating!
hope to hear of lots of BFP's soon, babydust to all you lovelies.
