Getting Pregnant <
Trying to conceive

So I decided after much waiting for AF to arrive to start charting by BBT so at least I could tell when AF should arrive! I'm not mad keen on starting to plan BD'ing in and would rather just keep at it, but I did drive myself crazy thinking I was PG when actually i probably just ov'd late!
Anyway I am today on cd and so far my temps have been
cd3 37.07 (however I had been drinking and dancing night before so am tempted to discount this one!)
So apart from my drunken night out fairly stable around the 36.1 to 36.4 mark.
My questions are:
1. Do you think I'm right to ignore my hungover temp, given that it was so early in the cycle?
2. Does it matter what time you do it, I'm trying to do it at the same time each AM but this might be more difficult in a week or so?
3. I am a bad sleeper (especially when I have TTC on my mind) so often wake up in the night. Do i take temp then or wait until its 7am, even if I havent been asleep for the recommended 5 hours before hand?
4. How much should I expect the temps to spike after OV - are we talking full degrees or just a couple of points?
Thanks in advance....countdown is on, I am due to go to the US on cd17 so hopefully I ov before then or after cd 24 when I get back!! Otherwise I'm out for another month!
Thanks a lot in advance ladies

Hiya, yes, I would disregard the drunk one as it seems to be different from all the rest, try to take it at same time every morning after 3 hours of sleep, and the shift in temp should be about 0.2 / 0.3 so it's not a lot but would be noticeable on a chart, good luck.x

thanks jojo and MrsU. I knew id get some sensible answers on here. rather than googling!
I've been taking temp before even opening eyes sometimes - so think I am getting the right one (ie before you move!) Holding on the need to wee for another few minutes!
I'll see how i get on as hopefully i'll get other signs to point me in the Ovulation direction (CM etc) I'll take a look at the tutorials to double check im on the right path!
I'll keep you posted. thanks x
