I was due to go to st mary's on the 7th too - but just got a bfp last weekend so now they won't see me - even though I was referred in March and they lost the referral!!!. Its a shame as it would ahve been good to meet up and support eachother! Not holding out much hope for this little bean as the cramping has started already....so I feel like its just a matter of time - this will be loss number 5.
In terms of what to expect - they will no doubt do a scan and take lots of bloods and probably go through your questionnaire with you. Don't be worried, from what I have heard they are very thorough adn when I saw a guy there privately for an appointment about a blood clotting issue I have, he was very nice.
Let us know how you go - and stop by ttc after miscarriage forum - I will get an august club up and running soon.

hello 3054 - how are you? Hope you are keeping well....and thank you for looking in on us.
Yes - I couldn't believe it when the test came up 'pregnant 1-2 weeks' - we hadn't even done much baby dancing this month and I was super busy at work so was shattered. my heart sank when I saw it though - as the panic set in and then I just thought 'here we go again'. Thanks for letting me know about your friend. I just associate the painful cramps with an early sign that its all going wrong as that is how it has been for me in the past. I know I should be positive - its hard to be after all these years and losses. My other tablets I have to take for my blood pressure when I am pregnant are however really upsetting my stomach - am thinking of asking if there is anythign else I could take as I am fed up feeling off and everytime I eat it just goes straight through me....

I was referred to the Recurrant miscarriage in Liverpool. It took about a month for Lancaster hospital to send the letter to Liverpool and a couple weeks for Liverpool to get back in touch.
I have already been for my blood tests at Liverpool Womans Hospital, and have my appointment ready booked for recieving the results... problem is ive just found im pregnant again (trying to conceive our first - after 7 miscarriages).
