Trying to conceive

Hi all l, I'm after some advice. I've tested 5 days before my af is due and 10 days post ovulation (according to my app). I've had what I think is a really strong BFP considering how early Ive tested but I'm concerned about chemical pregnancy. I've never heard of the term before reading on here and I'm wondering would my result be this strong if it was or is the strength of it a good sign. Kicking myself for not being patient and waiting for me to miss at!!

Looks like a strong bfp to me, congratulations!! Maybe you ovulated/conceived earlier than you think. Try not to worry though. Obviously you will feel more relaxed once af is late but its best not to stress. Enjoy being pregnant!
Best wishes x

I had a chemical pregnancy in July, I tested at 11dpo and go a VERY faint +, then in continued to test and they gradually got a little darker but nothing like you have. I also felt pregnant, sicky, tired, sore boobs. I then tested day before AF and it was a lot fainter, I also lost ALL of my symptoms. My period came as normal the next day but just heavier and for a day or two longer.
I honestly don't think that having a strong positive means a chemical pregnancy, I agree that you may have ovulated earlier than you thought? Do you use OPK's?
We're still trying to conceive, I'm 7dpo today and keeping my fingers crossed...and also going to hold out as long as poss to test! Although I still test early!! Lol

Thanks nelly and jos ur advice and experiences are much appreciated. The positive took me a bit by surprise so Im just scared the bubble will burst on Wednesday and I'll suffer for being so impatient! Have had some symptoms but u know what it's like as soon as u start trying u suddenly seem to have more aches, pains, nausea, dizziness than uve ever had before!! The other day I was actually poking my breast thinking yeah they are sore then I thought well how often to I usually poke them to know they don't always feel like that when they're being prodded!!!! Oh the joys lol
