Hi ladies,Feeling a bit sorry for myself (made worse coz I've just come down with a cold!). Got something similar to this a few days ago. My AF is now 3 days late but my cycle can be irregular due to PCOS, the v.faint line you see disappeared after a minute or so on the boots HPT, im sure this means it's a faulty batch or it looks like that as the result is forming, sorry for the crap picture. I've been on forums like this since my first test and I've been driving myself mad. I've had a gassy, bloated blocked tummy for a few days and really sore nipple ends but I'm sure I'm out this month...This has been further confirmed by finding out that OPK don't really work on women with PCOS, and that when I checked around the 15th when I'd calculated I should be ovulating, I probably wasn't ☹️️. I've tried a Superdrug and a first response today and they were both BFN (I thought I saw a tiny line on the FR test but by the time I'd tried ed to take a pic, I couldn't really see it anymore, and it was after 10 minutes).I'm just starting to feel really disheartened that it'll ever happen if I never know when I'm ovulating. Has anyone got any tips or advice about not obsessing?, when we first decided to try, we'd agreed to just see how it went because it was unlikely to be successful or quick with my PCOS but when stuff happens like this I can't help but get my hopes up ☹️️.Thanks for any input xxx

Hi hun, I'm sorry you're having such a tough time. I don't have pcos myself so I apologise for not being able help more but I wanted to wish you all the luck in the world on your ttc journey. Don't give up, it will happen. Try tracking your ovulation through basal body temperature charting if the sticks don't work for you and maybe talk to the ladies in the long term ttc section of the website. Best wishes. x

Thank you! - that has made me feel better actually. It's easy to get bogged down with it all isn't it?!.
I'm fairly new to all this really, I only found out at 30 (now 31) I had polycystic ovaries when I came off the pill after many years, for 6 months I thought my body was just adjusting until they performed a blood test and told me.
Hopefully AF will come soon and I can get back to normal!
Thanks for the kind words! X

It's awful I know!. I'm convinced I'm not now, so I'm desperate for my period!.
I've read some good things about Angus castus so might get some and see how I go...
I wish you the best of luck with it all, if you get the results, and you have cysts; make sure they tell you everything you need to know. I'm ridiculously disappointed with the information I got from the doctor, I've been left to figure it out on my own, or get lectured by the doctor for leaving it too late before planning my family ☹️️ (like I knew I had PCOS...😡).
Good luck! Xx

EmmaLouise, after your miscarriage in August, did you make sure you had a BFN before you started trying?
Sometimes its several weeks before the HCG comes out of our systems.... Best to get a BFN before trying again so as can confirm a new PG...
It could also be why you're 8 days late for a period....

Hi Butterfly .. Thank you for your reply Hun
tested negative after my miscatriage almost straight away I miscarriage on the Monday and had to go to hospital In The Thursday for a confirmed scan and theu confirmed I had passed naturally and did a urine sample which alrwady showed negative so I was de negative before I started trying Hun I think it was the brands of tests they was only cheap

Hope it's an upcoming bfp for you.
I have tortured myself with symptoms since my MC in July. after this cycle I am stopping tracking completely. think the OH thinks I am nuts and is putting him off. Want to get back to the fun we had and see what happens.
Annoying that pg and af symptoms are the same x

One thing to note is the hospital tests aren't the sensitive ones, so if using a sensitive one this time it may still be picking up HCG in the smallest amount.... I had an emergency ERPC and I still had faint lines the first cycle that then went away eventually. Was negative on the usual strength ones x

I was 10 weeks. Had seen the heartbeat at 7 weeks and told all ok. Started spotting and went to the scan and baby had died the day of my 7 weeknscan as it hadn't grown. Was booked in but things started naturally but ended up having an ambulance and emergency surgery as had an infection. Spent 2 days in hospital on antibiotics IV. Was horrible.
We weren't trying but weren't preventing. Heartbreaking.
Want it badly now. Am 36 and would have been out first due on 15th Feb. Valentine's Day is going to suck next year.
have to focus on the next step now. and hope.
