Trying to conceive

Exactly as the title. I was pondering this on the way home from work today.
How long have you been TTC and how much do you think you've spent on things that you wouldn't normally buy/have all in the name of TTC eg OPKs, HPTs, vitamins, books etc?
I've been trying for just over 1 year
Approx Spend - £130
Probably not bad for 1 year but I've not had a very good return for my money!!!!

Ooh, not sure. Not masses really, a couple of thermometers and some opk and hpts. Probably £25-50 range. I did think about getting a clear blue fertility monitor, which wold have bumped it up, but I don't think it'd give me anything opks can't, especially with dodgy cycles.

Oh goodness, I spent loads! We tried for 19 months all in and I’d say at least £10 per month on average on tests (some months nothing other months 2 or 3 packs), I only trusted ‘proper’ brands.
Not much on vitamins, maybe £20.
I bought preseed and cheapy OPK’s and preg tests a few times, maybe another £40.
Then in the last month I bought a CBFM and sticks, which was £70, but I never used them and they are currently on ebay up to £20!
So, what’s that, £320? Ouch.

Errrrr I'm into the thousands as I've had private treatment, previously had a Duo-fertility and generally been trying a looooong time.

Thousands on private fertility appointments, acupuncture medical tests. You name it we tried it!

I've spent about £25 on a fertility book, 2 lots of IC cheapy OPKs at £8 each, couple of boxes of Clearblue OPKs (£100 worth maybe?) and a thermometer... so far. Oh and my folic acid which I always forget to take, doh.

Not much, I'm on month 6 now. About £20 on a book, about a tenner on cheapie OPks, a fiver on a thermometer, £20 on tests. Probably £50 to £60 in total. It'll go up next month though as will get a CBFM, am currently watching OB's one on ebay!1

Not much, really. We've saved on buying condoms, and I've bought one book from the iBookstore for about a fiver, the babymad thermometer off amazon for a fiver, and amazon cheapie opks and hpts. I have an unopened double pack of CBD hpts waiting to be used once I get a pos on a cheapie. So, in 4 months I've spent about £30?

Probably so e where in the region of £700

Thermometer = £5
Fertility Lube = £10
Vitamins = £40
OPKs = £30
HPTs = £35
Acupuncture = £50
Reflexology = £50
Seriously?! £220!! :-0

Not much so far - a thermometer, a few opk cheepies from Internet. One bottle of vitamins which I only used for a week or so. H is currently taking some vitamins. But I think it is going to get more expensive the longer we go on.

Nothing except folic acid so far. I daren't start with OPKs or anything because I fear I'll start obsessing
