Hi Ladies bit of a personal question.
When you were ttc/fell preg did any of you experience a urine infection round about the same time or notice your bleed that happens with the fertilised egg attached to the womb, think it is called a breakthrough bleed?

I had both of the above with both of my pregs, doc thinks this was unusual. Discussed when spoke to him about ttc. Anyone else had this/these?

    Thanks

    Hi Sarah,

How are you? Noticed one of your tickers is missing. How are things going with ttc?

I have started ttc now also.

    Hi Pauline,

When i conceived Hollie i didnt have any of these symptoms. The only thing i did have was very bad menstrual like cramps at the time i tested. Implantation bleeding is very common though so i am surprised your doctor found it so strange.

We are also ttc number 2 but may have to wait until Hollie is fully weaned before having any luck.

    Karen xx

implantation bleed isn't very common at all. but alot of women think they have it, as they exprance a short light bleed before there bfp's.
true implantation bleed will happen around 8 days past ovuation so around a week before your due on. it will be so so so light, it'll be something like one speak of blood. you'll wipe, see redish and thats it. remember the egg is so small it won't make the area bleed much at all.
what some people may think is implantion bleed, around 2 to 3 days before there due on is in fact the hormones trying to get them selfs in order, i.e you start your af and then the pregnancy hormones stop it.
guess the reason why your doc was a little baffled is it's not knowen as fact in pregnancy, i.e some refuse to belelive it ever happens.
same as ovualtion pains, there debatable in a proffesionals eyes but you'll get many many women that say they exprance them.

anyway, to answer your question, no bleeding, but lots of period type cramps, like i was going to come on any day. also i noticed that i had a discharge (normal for pregnancy btw) i had a water infection before i found out i was pregnant with charlie, but think that was more chance than anything else.
    good luck anyway x

    Hi Pauline

I DID,your not alone,i had urine infection about the time i preggers and had a few along the way,G.P said this was normal due to high levels of something.

I think like karn says an inplantation bleed can occour,i certenly had a light bleed just befor i found out which is why i thought i wasnt preggers.

My sister to also bled through her whole 1st pregnancy.

It is strange you Dr said this but if in doubt get a second oppinion or see the nurse.

Oh i didnt mean you were, sorry.lol, but i still suffer with them often and have had day sugery to check my bladder and kidneys as i had a kidney infection before riley.

I always get a feeling and go straight to my Dr for a quick urine sample test,im never usualy wrong and get treated straight away,if you feel you are about to get one go get checked,it may just save you the agony later if it is an infection.
