Its really hard to answer this question because we don't know what was being tested. Chances are it was progesterone, prolactin, hcg, fsh, and lh. These are the common labs done for infertility. The values change depending on the cycle day, so it would be difficult to decipher if you don't have all of the information. I know I basically didn't tell you anything but I hope I at least helped ease your mind. One being elevated or low may just be that way because of the cycle day. That's why the Dr. referred you to a specialist. He/she likely didn't mean to worry but just to inform you she didn't have all the results for you and to send you to someone who may be able to tell you more.
