    Hello

Me and my Husband are trying for our first baby and I came off the pill in October. Since then i have only had the one period straight after coming off it and then nothing else. Today for the first time, when going to the loo I have noticed a light pink stain when i wipe.... ( i am sorry for the tmi) Could this be the start of getting back to my routine or something more?

When i had a regular cycle i used to have some spotting inbetween periods but this is not the same.

Any advice would be appriecated..... I am finding it frustrating as without my periods I am finding it hard to track my ovulating.

    Thank you

Hi its possible, but its very common for your cycles to take a long while to get back to normal. It took me 6 months to get a period (my doctors wouldn't do anything until then.) then i only had one every 6 weeks or so, i can understand how frustrating it is not being anle to track your cycle. Hopefully you wont have to wait that long!

Maybe the pink stain was the start of your period? Fingers crossed!

I found concentrating on making myself as healthy as possible and taking folic acid helped and having sex every few days meant if i did ovulate i wouldn't really miss the window. Good luck! Xx

I agree with HL2010 - it can take a while for some people to readjust after oming off BC - but dtd every 2-3 days is the advise and should cover when you ovulate. Can't hurt to mention it to your GP, but they prob won't do anything yet.
