I have the same problem i seem to be all over the place although i don't actually use opk i just check for cm and my boobs get sore the day after ov so i know when i did. first month it was cd13 i think then month 2 was either 14 or 15 and then this month it was cd 17! i suppose i can be greatful that my cycles have gone back to 'normal' pretty quickly though and have not had to wait ages for first af. sorry i wasn't much help! x

I get confused too because my cycles seem to always be 26 days or around that. I suppose the only way to know is to use opk but i'm starting on temp charting next month so hopefully that will help x

yeah mine are 27 days on the dot. i cant chart temps because i have to get up for a wee just before i get up in the morning or my LO will call 10mins before the alarm goes off, so it wouldnt be acrute enough. i supose we could just bd every other day all cycle but think that may feel like a chore!

Supposedly, the luteal phase (the time from ov to your next AF) is pretty constant, but the time from CD1 to ov day can vary. I can't say I have any experience of it, since I'm still waiting to ov in month 1 after pill, but that's what I've read!

my temps probably won't be that accurate either as sometimes have to get up for kids as they are too scared to go to the toilet on there own in the night they just yell! but from checking them last year, i still saw a pattern as the themometer was quite sensitive.

I can see it must be frustrating for you hjanea as i suppose you only get one shot a month unless your donar makes it over twice each month. at least the rest of us get to do it when we think we need to (so long as oh is willing of course!) and even then you need to get it right although i suppose if you do it on day 12 then they'll be there for days 12,13 and hopefully 14! x
